FAQ on Religion

Heres my FAQ (frequently asked questions) on Religion. First, you must understand that I am a Christian, and my answers will come from a Christian's viewpoint. However, if you have a question on other religions i might be able to answer it. I know the basics of the more popular religions. I must admit though, I am much better prepared to answer questions about Christianity, the Bible and other such things. I cannot promise that I have the answer or that my answer is right. I know two things that are definite. 1.There is a God 2. I'm not him. So there's my disclaimer. Right now I had one question that had crossed my mind. Thats what started this page. I got it from rescources and people I could talk to. which is where I might get alot of my questions.

"How did we get all these races?"

imagine the traits that are passed on heretically. eye color, hair color, height, weight, attitude, etc. imagine now, long ago that race was something as common as that. no one questioned it because it had just always been like that since the beginning of time. I propose that Adam and Eve(from here I go into my Christian viewpoint) had every characteristic, every trait, including race. I can see them standing over one of their babies, saying, "oh he's got his fathers skin color! how cute!" It sounds perposterous, but its because we're not used to it. Now, skip ahead to the tower of babbylon. Each group of people with common language went there own way, eventualy populizing the earth. Earlier in the Bible there was no avoiding inbreeding. The first family had to do it, Noah's family had to do it. Now i think it became common, myself, but thats not the point. Each group couldn't have been that big. I read of four generations, going through the geneology of Shem, Noah's son. Now, these individual groups, spread throughout the earth, they would be limited to reproducing within that group, which leads me to this thing called genetic drift. Its pretty much inbreeding put to science. If you get a small group to reproduce, then eventually they will get to be of the same characteristics and traits, thus eliminating other races from another. It makes sense.

So if you have any questionsm, I will post them and come up with an answer if I can. just email me. Me and all my rescources are only a click away.
