"Oh my gosh! Is that 98 degrees?!?!?" I said excitedly. "Wow, this is so amazing..Thank you so much for taking me." Justin started laughing at how star struck I was but I just couldn't believe that I was surrounded by all these celebrities. Everything was going great except for the fact that Shelly was giving me looks that could kill. I felt bad that Lance got stuck with her as a date. Since the only dancers that NSYNC takes on their tour were 5 girl dancers the guys usually just each took one to parties like this.
"Hey Justin, How are you?" Brittany Spears said as she walked over to us.
This is great. Just who I didn't want to see. How can I compare to her? It's gonna be a long night. I thought to myself.
"Hey there Miss Brittany, I'm good, how are you?" Justin replied politely.
"I'm doing pretty good." As she said that I kinda cleared my throat so Justin might remember to introduce me.
"Oh.uhthis is Jennifer Rhe, one of our new dancers." Justin said.
"Hi, nice to meet you." I said
"Like wise." Brittany responded shaking my hand and giving me a look up and down. "Well, I'll see you guys around, have fun tonight Jennifer." She said with a smile before walking away.
" She is really nicer in person than I thought she would be. I guess people just don't give her enough credit." I said to Justin. "Yeah. Listen, I'll be right back, the rest of the guys and I have to go talk to our manager and some of his co-workers so ummyou can just walk around or talk.I promise I'll make it quick." He said apologetically.
"Oh, it's no problem.this party is for you anyway so take your time." I told him. So I was left to walk around by myself. All of a sudden someone backed into me squishing my toe. "Ouch!" I yelled softly. I looked up to see who did it only to hear a spill of apologies coming from the one and only Nick Carter. I went speechless for a moment looking into that innocent face and blue eyes.
"I am so sorry, I really amI didn't know you were there." He started saying.
"It's really ok." I said cutting him off, giving him a big smile. Stop this, you're flirting! I said to myself. "I'm Jennifer." I said.
"Nick, Nick Carter." He said. "I haven't seen you at one of these parties before."
"I'm a new dancer for NSYNC." I explained to him wishing I hadn't told who I was a dancer for because of the fact that they are competitors.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, I hope that I see you around." He said smiling before walking away.
I started walking down a long hall admiring all of the beautiful designs and smiling like a fool because I had just talked to Nick Carter. My thoughts were interrupted though as I heard someone calling my name. I turned around to see Justin walking down the hall toward me.
"Hey baby." Justin said leaning down to kiss my cheek. "What are you doing?"
"Just walking around and looking in some of the other rooms." I said as I opened another door revealing a small closet. After I opened it Justin turned to me lifting his eyebrows at me.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked like a little boy.
"Possibly." I said as I walked in pulling him into the darkness with me as he closed the door. We started making out giggling like children would when they know mommy wouldn't approve. Things started heating up as Justin started letting his hands wander up my dress, grazing my thighs. "Watch those hands." I said out of breath as I pulled his hands out and put them around my waist. But he started to go up my dress again, so I pulled away. "Justin come on baby lets get out of here before someone notices we're gone." I said opening the door. We walked down the hall in silence together.
"Hey Jen, I'm gonna have to stick around for awhile and I don't want you to have to wait around for me so JC can take you back to the Hotel if you want." Justin said.
"Umm..alright, but I thought we were going to go out afterward?" I asked disappointed.
"Well, I know but some stuff came up, I'm really sorry." He said off in a hurry somewhere.
"Ready to Go?" JC asked linking arms with me.
"Sure." I said as we walked arm in arm out into the parking lot. We found his convertible and hopped in.
"So, how did you like walking around with the rich and the famous? Was it as glamorous as you thought it would be?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Totally! I can't believe who I met tonight." I said totally reminiscing in the past events of the last hour.
"So who did you meet?" He asked curiously.
"Well, Brittany Spears, and Oh my gosh.Nick Carter! He accidentally stepped on my toe and he was being so sweet when he apologized." Saying that made me want to take it back. JC was Justin's best friend and I guess that's not the right thing to say when you're starting to date Justin.
"Nick Carter huh? Well, not to be rude but Justin is really touchy about him because He is always being compared to him, ya know?" He explained looking over at me. " I just wouldn't sound so excited when your talking about him in front of Justin."
"I won't, in fact I won't even bring it up." I promised
