Bryce2Vue is an application to convert Bryce 5 files to Vue D'Esprit 4 files.
I was an old fan of Bryce (since version 1!) but I recently switched to Vue. Because I think Vue is much better software. But I found out there was a problem after switching the software. I can't convert my Bryce scenes to Vue.
So I decided to write software by myself to do the conversion, but problem is Vue and Bryce file formats are not public. I had to understand the formats first and that was very difficult. I have been working of this for several months. Finally I made it to work! And now Corel announced that they were going to stop selling Bryce on Mac. What does it mean? They only do harm to Bryce. I am really disappointed. So I am glad to share this software with Mac Bryce users. It is not a problem that Bryce for Mac is gone because we have Vue which I think is a better product.

Bryce2Vue can convert a lot of Bryce 5 objects:
But some features are missing in version 1.0, like material conversion or sky conversion. I try to convert picture map in next version.

This
version only support Mac OS X and is only for Macintosh Bryce 5 files (if
you want to convert a PC file, get a Mac and open it and save it on Mac
Bryce 5 version before using Bryce2Vue.
