Jonathan Coachman walks excitedly down the hallway and through the connecting door. He's in one of ECW's studios and is about to interview one of the newest and hottest superstars to hit the federation, Shane McMahon. He is stopped by a woman with a large powder puff who gives him a quick touch up before the cameras are turned on. Shane is already seated comfortably on the end of a leather couch. Beside the couch sits an empty leather chair for the "Coach" to sit in for the duration of the interview. Coach makes his way over and Shane stands to shake his hand. They both sit again and get comfortable as the cameras start to roll. Coach clears his thoughts and begins to speak.
Coach: Shane McMahon, thank you for agreeing to this time. I appreciate that you're a busy man following your debut match here in Extreme Championship Wrestling. I'd like to start things off with asking the obvious, what are your thoughts on all this fighting going on amongst then divas? It seems like since your arrival here, there have been women falling over themselves to get to you. Is that flattering?
Shane: Flattering? Of course it's flattering but you forget who you're talking to, Coach. I'm Shane McMahon, I'm used to women falling over themselves to get to me. Having said that, I wouldn't say the divas of ECW fall into that category. There are many beautiful women in this federation who haven't even glanced at me and I'm fine with that.
Caoch: But you can't be unaware of the crossfire between Ms Butterfly Diamond and Ms Jennifer Krug. What exactly is your relationship with Ms Krug, if you don't mind me asking.
Shane: Jennifer Krug is a good friend of mine. She grew up next door to the McMahon family in Greenwich. Her and my sister Steph were roughly the same age although they ran in different circles. Her family went through alot when her father passed away so what else were we to do? The same thing all neighbours do, the same thing all friends do. They pull together and help out whatever way they can so we did what we could. It was appreciated and it made us all closer. Jennifer and I were never that close because of the age difference but we got along. And we still do. We're friends.
Coach: But surely it can't have escaped your attention that she's grown into a very attractive young lady?
Shane: No Coach, it hasn't. But like I said, we're good friends.
Coach: Alright then, moving along, how about Ms Diamond? She was the second diva here in ECW to approach you with her managerial services. What do you think of her?
Shane: I think she is unquestionably a very beautiful woman and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't seriously considered saying yes to her.
Coach: Will you be saying yes to her?
Shane: At this point, I think my answer is pretty useless. These ladies have decided to take it to the next level and take it to the ring. I'm happy to accept the winner of the match as my manager.
Coach: Really? That's an incredible incentive for both ladies, I'm sure. Do you have a favorite thus far?
Shane: Jennifer is important to me because, like I've already said, she's a good friend. Butterfly, I've had the good fortune to bump into a few times and I have to say it was a very enjoyable experience. So picking a favorite isn't easy at all. I'm gonna stand my ground and say, whoever wins will get the pleasure of my company for as long as she can stand it. ~laughs~
Coach: You say you're willing to let the winner manage you but don't you already have a manager? Ms Allyson Carter?
Shane: Allyson is not my manager. She's my personal assistant. She's in charge of my appearances and just generally making sure I keep to my schedule and turn up at events. She's nothing to do with how I wrestle or accompanying me to the ring.
Coach: I see. Well thank you once again for taking this time to talk to us Shane. It's been a pleasure.
Shane: Wish I could say the same, Coach, but I have a hot date. So, if you'll excuse me .....
Shane smiles as he gets up and walks away from the interview set-up. He had a gorgeous woman waiting in his hotel room and he wasn't about to miss out on it for some idle chit-chat with the Coach. Hr grins to himself a little more as he realises that having two beautiful women fighting over him was a rather exciting prospect. Whatever the outcome, he couldn't lose. Both were talented, gorgeous and definitely full of personality. Just the way he likes them.
