Celebrated at dawn. The Goddess in in full force and the earth is now green. Ostara celebrates the renewal of life force. The flowers will soon return. Now is the time for sowing of seeds and following through with plans made during Imbolc.
To celebrate this holiday you may make a small mound of dirt with a decorated egg or seed in the center on your altar. The egg is in a sense a seed. Children used to decorate them and race them by rolling them down hills. Easter later adopted this tradition.

I plant for you a seed.
Although it is still round
In growning, it will succeed.
