CHARLES JOHNSON
FUNERAL SERVICE
AT 2 P.M. TODAY
Funeral services for Charles
W. Johnson, 80, will be at 2 p.m.
today (Thursday) from the United
Church of Christ with the Rev.
Lewis Winter officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Tuesday at
Community Bailey Hospital in
Chamberlain.
Charles Johnson was born
May 13, 1890, at Cripple Creek,
Colo., to Mr. and Mrs. William
C. Johnson.
He married Lizzie Baker on
Feb. 25, 1916, at Baker. They
farmed in the Hamill area until
retiring, to Chamberlain in 1948.
Surviving relatives, in addition
to Mrs. Johnson, include one
son, Leonard Johnson of Reliance;
one daughter, Mrs. Beulah
Hieb of Chamberlain; one sister,
Mrs. Mabel Ellis of Buhl, Ida.;
11 grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.

charge of arrangements.
