This is our Prime Minister, Jean Chretien attacking (er I mean defending himself from) a protester.

It has been alleged that our Prime Minister had personally ordered the protesters to be dispersed. The demonstrators were dispersed by attacking them with pepper spray. It is interesting to note that the Chretien government has prohibited the possession of pepper spray by citizens who might use it for protection against criminals. Yet our RCMP fearlessly hosed down unarmed students with the stuff. Chretien later joked about the APEC pepper spray incident, saying "Pepper - I put it on me plate" and flashing a winsome smile.
