Turbine Powered Bike
Brainchild of Ted McIntyre and built by Christian Tavert,this bike is based around an Allison 250 C18 gas turbine motor normally found in helicopters!It puts out 317bhp@54,000 rpm.The tansmission is a single gear with neutral transfer box.From a standing start,it will go 0 to 200 in 5.4 seconds in less than a quarter mile!It's been run to 260 mph on the dyno and believe it or not it weighs in at 460 lbs dry.

The front end is a 54mm WP upside downer with 17" Dymags.
The tach reads up to 60,000 rpm and the speedo goes to 250 mph.
That TV screen is the rear view and is attached to the camera mounted in the taillight.
