Princess Diana:A Journey into my heart
Life is a journey...
As we walk through life, we touch many people and if we are lucky...someone touches us. They touch our hearts in a place so deep, we didn't even know the place was there, but they touch us in spite of ourselves.
We can't explain or justify it...
It just happens....
That's how Diana touched me...
Her journey became my journey. She was every love song I ever heard, every fairy tale I ever read and every dream I dared to dream. She believed in her dreams, so I did too.
For so many years, I always walked beside her--sharing her joys and sorrows, her laughter and her pain--and I thought I always would. Journey's don't always end the way we want them to do,
but then, that's the way of a journey.
Diana's journey through this life ended on August 31,1997 and her new journey began. A new path in my personal journey started the same day. As I wept for Diana, I wept for me. the part of me that could not cry for so long could cry for Diana, and the weeping cleansed my soul.
A door opened in my heart and I could step through the pain and darkness and into light.
A healing in my life had started and I could continue on my journey--refreshed and renewed....
I was ready to walk where the road takes me and I was at last free...
I will always take a part of Diana with me,
No matter where my journey takes me. you see,
Diana walks in my heart.
It was her gift to me....
She didn't know me but I knew her....
I will treasure Diana's journey all of my life. ..
I will do my best to make my journey through life count.
I will make Diana proud.
