We at Spirithill Mastiffs would like to state most emphatically that we do NOT believe in spoiling our Mastiffs. In fact, we believe our Mastiffs should be treated like dogs! This picture is of Winnie (Mascamus Midnight Mystery) who is nine and a half years old and rules the entire household. Here is John (looking very stern) whilst lecturing baby Bouncer on his future duties in the household. Be sure to watch for new pictures of Bouncer that will demonstrate how seriously he took his Dad's instructions. Welcome to Spirithill Mastiffs owned and loved by John and Margaret Bromley. We hope you enjoy looking at our pictures. Our home is on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey situated off the north coast of Wales. We have been very involved with mastiffs since 1975. All our mastiffs are kept as pets and live in the house with us, if they do well in the show ring, then that is just an added bonus. Over the years mastiffs have consistently given our family times of great joy and also heartbreak but we are totally committed to this wonderful breed. Both of us are very active members of the UK breed clubs. John is Chairman of the Mastiff Association which is the largest UK mastiff club, we both judge at Open Show level and help whenever we can with Mastiff Rescue. Over the years we have made very many friends within the mastiff world both in the UK and abroad.. On occasions we do use our dogs for stud to approved bitches. We feel just as responsible for any subsequent litters as the owners of the bitch, they are our children, too. We are always interested to hear how the puppies are progressing.. Our first mastiff 'Meg' was long-coated. Although this is considered to be very undesirable by many mastiff fanciers, we absolutely adore them. We consider ourselves lucky to have been owned by two 'fluffies' and we have enjoyed them tremendously. Margaret Bromley with Ben, who is Champion Glynpedr Napoleon (sired by CH. Damaria Count Magnum out of Glynpedr Fanta). Here is another picture that shows our dear Ben's head. This picture is of our Oliver (Farnaby Flash Harry At Spirithill), John and William. This is our Sam, Cenninpedr Flash Gordon of Spirithill. Sam appeared in Country Life Magazine when they featured the 18th century artiste Comte de Buffon. It is Buffon's pied color mastiff in the picture just behind Sam. OWNING A MASTIFF MASTIFF CLUBS & OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WEB RINGS & AWARDS MY GUEST BOOK Email: spirithill@easynet.co.uk
