Welcome to Moonbase Alpha, We hope you will enjoy your stay.
On September 13, 1999... our moon was blasted out of Earth's orbit by a cataclysmic detonation of the nuclear waste stored on it's far side. The 311 men and women posted here were trapped as the moon was sent on it's journey through the universe.
We've lost many friends and fellow moonbase residents over the years since leaving the Earth's solar system. We've also increased in number through numerous births here as well as our rescue of the shapeshifting Psychon, Maya...who has become a good friend to us.
Take your time to settle in and learn about us. Our hope is that you will become a valuable addition to our Alpha staff and enjoy a long and happy life here. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send them to me.
