The lamination process takes about two or three days and is done locally at Peninsula Laminations' shop. The process adheres a document to high quality fam-cam board and provides a nonglare, ultraviolet (UV) protective coating. The document
is protected from wrinkling, tearing, or fading, so it can be safely displayed without fear of damage.
Just as with matting and framing, laminations provide an artistic display of a document. What's better about the lamenation process, though, is its lower cost. The finished lamination is actually less expensive than if conventional framing and matting techniques were used.
