WHEN I FIRST CAME TO INDIA from Miracle of Love by Ram Dass

In 1967 when I first came to India, I brought with me a supply of LSD, hoping to find someone who might understand more about these substances than we did in the West.

When I had met Maharajji (Neem Karoli Baba), after some days the thought had crossed my mind that he would be a perfect person to ask.

The next day after having that thought, I was called to him and he asked me immediately, "Do you have a question?"

Of course, being before him was such a powerful experience that I had completely forgotten the question I had had in my mind the night before.

So I looked stupid and said, "No, Maharajji, I have no question."He appeared irritated and said, "Where is the medicine?"

I was confused but Bhagavan Dass suggested, " Maybe he means the LSD." I asked and Maharajji nodded. The bottle of LSD was in the car and I was sent to fetch it.When I returned I emptied the vial of pills into my hand. In addition to the LSD there were a number of other pills for this and that--diarrhea, fever, a sleeping pill, and so forth. He asked about each of these.

He asked if they gave powers. I didn't understand at the time and thought that by "powers" perhaps he meant physical strength. I said, "No." Later, of course, I came to understand that the word he had used, "siddhis," means psychic powers. Then he held out his hand for the LSD. I put one pill on his palm. Each of these pills was about three hundred micrograms of very pure LSD--a solid dose for an adult. He beckoned for more, so I put a second pill in his hand--six hundred micrograms. Again he beckoned and I added yet another, making the total dosage nine hundred micrograms--certainly not a dose for beginners. Then he threw all the pills into his mouth. My reaction was one of shock mixed with fascination of a social scientist eager to see what would happen.

He allowed me to stay for an hour-- and nothing happened. Nothing whatsoever.

He just laughed at me.

The whole thing had happened very fast and unexpectedly. When I returned to the United States in 1968 I told many people about this acid feat. But there had remained in me a gnawing doubt that perhaps he had been putting me on and had thrown the pills over his shoulder or palmed them, because I hadn't actually seen them go into his mouth.

Three years later, when I was back in India, he asked me one day, "Did you give me medicine when you were in India last time?"

"Yes."

"Did I take it?" he asked. ( Ah, there was my doubt made manifest!)

"I think you did."

"What happened?

"Nothing."

"Oh! Jao!" and he sent me off for the evening.

The next morning I was called over to the porch in front of his room, where he sat in the mornings on a tucket. He asked, "Have you got any more of that medicine?" It just so happened that I was carrying a small supply of LSD for "just in case," and this was obviously it. "Yes."

"Get it," he said.

So I did. In the bottle were five pills of three hundredmicrograms each. One of the pills was broken. I placed them on my palm and held them out to him. He took the four unbroken pills. Then, one by one, very obviously and very deliberately, he placed each one in his mouth and swallowed it-- another unspoken thought of mine now answered.

As soon as he had swallowed the last one, he asked, "Can I take water?"

"Yes."

"Hot or cold?"

"It doesn't matter."

He started yelling for water and drank a cup when it was brought.

Then he asked," How long will it take to act?"

"Anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour."

He called for an older man, a long -time devotee who had a watch, and Maharajji held the man's wrist, often pulling it up to him to peer at the watch.

Then he asked," Will it make me crazy?"

That seemed so bizarre to me that I could only go along with what seemed to be a gag.

So I said, "Probably."

And then we waited. After some time he pulled the blanket over his face, and when he came out after a moment his eyes were rolling and his mouth was ajar and he looked totally mad. I got upset. What was happening? Had I misjudged his powers? After all, he was an old man (though how old I had no idea), and I had let him take twelve hundred micrograms. Maybe last time he had thrown them away and then he read my mind and was trying to prove to me he could do it, not realizing how strong the "medicine" really was. Guilt and anxiety poured through me. But when I looked at him again he was perfectly normal and looking at the watch.

At the end of an hour it was obvious nothing had happened. His reactions had been a total put-on. And then he asked, "Have you got anything stronger?" I didn't. Then he said, "These medicines were used in Kulu Valley long ago. But yogis have lost that knowledge. They were used with fasting. Nobody knows now. To take them with no effect, your mind must be firmly fixed on God. Others would be afraid to take. Many saints would not take this." And he left it at that.

When I asked him if I should take LSD again, he said, "It should not be taken in a hot climate. If you are in a place that is cool and peaceful, and you are alone and your mind is turned toward God, then you may take the yogi medicine."

Here is contained "Self-Liberation through Seeing with Naked Awareness," this being a Direct Introduction to the State of Intrinsic Awareness, From "The Profound Teaching of Self-Liberation in the Primordial State of the Peaceful and Wrathful Deities."

Homage to the Trikaya and to the Deities who represent the inherent luminous clarity of intrinsic awareness.

Herein I shall teach "Self-Liberation through Seeing with Naked Awareness," which is a direct introduction to intrinsic awareness From "The Profound Teaching of Self-Liberation in the Primordial State of the Peaceful and Wrathful Deities."

Truly, this introduction to your own intrinsic awareness should be contemplated well, O fortunate sons of a noble family!

SAMAYA! Gya! Gya! Gya!

Emaho! It is the single (nature of) mind, which encompasses all of Samsara and Nirvana. Even though its inherent nature has existed from the very beginning, you have not recognized it; Even though its clarity and presence has been uninterrupted, you have not yet encountered its face. Even though its arising has nowhere been obstructed, still you have not comprehended it. Therefore, this (direct introduction) is for the purpose of bringing you to self-recognition. Everything that is expounded by the Victorious Ones (Buddhas) of the three times in the eighty-four thousand Gateways to the Dharma. Is incomprehensible (unless you understand intrinsic awareness). Indeed, the Victorious Ones do not teach anything other than the understanding of this. Even though there exist unlimited numbers of scriptures, equal in their extent to the sky, yet with respect to the real meaning, there are three statements that will introduce you to your own intrinsic awareness. This introduction to the manifest Primordial State of the Victorious One is disclosed by the following method for entering into the practice where there exists no antecedent or subsequent practices.

Kye-ho! O my fortunate sons listen! Even though that which is usually called "mind" is widely esteemed and much discussed, still it is not understood or it is wrongly understood or it is understood in a one-sided manner only. Since it is not understood correctly just as it is in itself, there come into existence inconceivable numbers of philosophical ideas and assertions. Furthermore, since ordinary individuals do not understand it, they do not recognize their own nature, and so they continue to wander among the six destinies (of rebirth) within the three worlds and thus experience suffering. Therefore, not understanding your own mind is a very grievous fault. Even though the Sravakas and the Pratyekabuddhas wish to understand it in terms of the Anatman doctrine, still they do not understand it as it is in itself. Also there exist others who, being attached to their own personal ideas and interpretations, Become fettered by these attachments and so do not perceive the Clear Light. The Sravakas and the Pratyekabuddhas are (mentally) obscured by their attachments to subject and object. The Madhyamikas are (mentally) obscured by their attachments to the extremes of the Two Truths. The practitioners of the Kriya Tantra and the Yoga Tantra are (mentally) obscured by their attachments to seva-sadhana practice. The practitioners of the Maha-yoga and the Anuyoga are (mentally) obscured by their attachments to Space and Awareness. And with respect to the real meaning of non-duality, since they divide these (Space and Awareness) into two, they fall into deviation. If these two do not become one without any duality, you will certainly not attain Buddhahood. In terms of your own mind, as is the case with everyone, Samsara and Nirvana are inseparable. Nonetheless, because you persist in accepting and enduring attachments and aversions, you will continue to wander in Samsara. Therefore, your active dharmas and your inactive ones both should be abandoned. However, since self-liberation through seeing nakedly by means of intrinsic awareness is here revealed to you, You should understand that all dharmas can be perfected and completed in the great total Self-Liberation. And therefore, whatever (practice you do) can be brought to perfection within the Great Perfection. SAMAYA! Gya! Gya! Gya!

As for this sparkling awareness, which is called "mind," Even though one says that it exists, it does not actually exist. (On the other hand) as a source, it is the origin of the diversity of all the bliss of Nirvana and all of the sorrow of Samsara. And as for it��s being something desirable; it is cherished alike in the Eleven Vehicles. With respect to its having a name, the various names that are applied to it are inconceivable (in their numbers). Some call it "the nature of the mind" or "mind itself." Some Tirthikas call it by the name Atman or "the Self." The Sravakas call it the doctrine of Anatman or "the absence of a self." The Chittamatrins call it by the name Chitta or "the Mind." Some call it the Praj?��p��ramit�� or "the Perfection of Wisdom." Some call it the name Tathagata-garbha or "the embryo of Buddhahood." Some call it by the name Mahamudra or "the Great Symbol." Some call it by the name "the Unique Sphere." Some call it by the name Dharmadhatu or "the dimension of Reality." Some call it by the name Alaya or "the basis of everything." And some simply call it by the name "ordinary awareness."

Now, when you are introduced (to your own intrinsic awareness), the method for entering into it involves three considerations: Thoughts in the past are clear and empty and leave no traces behind. Thoughts in the future are fresh and unconditioned by anything. And in the present moment, when (your mind) remains in its own condition without constructing anything, awareness, at that moment, in itself is quite ordinary. And when you look into yourself in this way nakedly (without any discursive thoughts), Since there is only this pure observing, there will be found a lucid clarity without anyone being there who is the observer; only a naked manifest awareness is present. (This awareness) is empty and immaculately pure, not being created by anything whatsoever. It is authentic and unadulterated, without any duality of clarity and emptiness. It is not permanent and yet it is not created by anything. However, it is not a mere nothingness or something annihilated because it is lucid and present. It does not exist as a single entity because it is present and clear in terms of being many. (On the other hand) it is not created as a multiplicity of things because it is inseparable and of a single flavor. This inherent self-awareness does not derive from anything outside itself. This is the real introduction to the actual condition of things. 8. Within this (intrinsic awareness), the Trikaya (Triple Bodies) are inseparable and fully present as one. Since it is empty and not created anywhere whatsoever, it is The Dharmakaya (Dharma-Body). Since its luminous clarity represents the inherent transparent radiance of emptiness, it is the Sambhogakaya (Reward-Body / Utility-Body). Since its arising is nowhere obstructed or interrupted, it is the Nirmanakaya. These three (the Trikaya) being complete and fully present as one are its very essence.

When you are introduced in this way through this exceedingly powerful method for entering into the practice, (You discover directly) that your own immediate self-awareness is just this (and nothing else), and that it has an inherent self-clarity, which is entirely un-fabricated. How can you then speak of not understanding the nature of the mind? Moreover, since you are meditating without finding anything there to meditate upon, how can you say that your meditation does not go well? Since your own manifest intrinsic awareness is just this, how can you say that you cannot find your own mind? The mind is just that which is thinking: And yet, although you have searched (for the thinker), how can you say that you do not find him? With respect to this, nowhere does there exist the one who is the cause of (mental) activity. And yet, since activity exists, how can you say that such activity does not arise? Since merely allowing (thoughts) to settle into their own condition, without trying to modify them in any way, is sufficient, How can you say that you are not able to remain in a calm state? Since allowing (thoughts) to be just as they are, with out trying to do anything about them, is sufficient, How can you say that you are not able to do anything with regard to them? Since clarity, awareness, and emptiness are inseparable and are spontaneously self-perfected, how can you say that nothing is accomplished by your practice? Since (intrinsic awareness) is self-originated and spontaneously self-perfected without any antecedent causes or conditions, How can you say that you are not able to accomplish anything by your efforts? Since the arising of discursive thoughts and their being liberated occur simultaneously, how can you say that you are unable to apply an antidote? Since your own immediate awareness is just this, how can you say that you do not know anything with regard to it?

10.

It is certain that the nature of the mind is empty and without any foundation whatsoever. Your own mind is insubstantial like the empty sky. You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not. Being without any view that decisively decides that it is empty, It is certain that self-originated primal awareness has been clear (and luminous) from the very beginning, Like the heart of the sun, which is itself self-originated. You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not. It is certain that this primal awareness or gnosis, which is one's intrinsic awareness, is unceasing, like the main channel of a river that flows unceasingly. You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not. It is certain that the diversity of movements (arising in the mind) are not apprehend-able by memories, they are like insubstantial breezes that move through the atmosphere. You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not. It is certain that whatever appearances occur, all of them are self-manifested, like the images in a mirror being self-manifestations that simply appear. You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not. It is certain that all of the diverse characteristics of things are liberated into their own condition, Like clouds in the atmosphere that are self-originated and self-liberated. You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not.

11.

There exist no phenomena other than what arises from the mind. Other than the meditation that occurs, where is the one who is meditating? There exist no phenomena other than what arises from the mind. Other than the behavior that occurs, where is the one who is behaving? There exist no phenomena other than what arises from the mind. Other than the samaya vow that occurs, where is the one who is guarding it? There exist no phenomena other than what arises from the mind. Other than the fruition that occurs, where is the one who is realizing (the fruit)? You should look at your own mind, observing it again and again.

12.

When you look upward into the space of the sky outside yourself, If there are no thoughts occurring that are emanations being projected, And when you look inward at your own mind inside yourself, If there exists no projectionist who projects thoughts by thinking them, Then your own subtle mind will become lucidly clear without anything being projected. Since the Clear Light of your own intrinsic awareness is empty, it is the Dharmakaya; and this is like the sun rising in a cloudless illuminated sky. Even though this light cannot be said to possess a particular shape or form, nevertheless, it can be fully known. The meaning of this, whether or not it is understood, is especially significant.

13.

This self-originated Clear Light, which from the very beginning was in no way produced by something antecedent to it, is the child of awareness, and yet it is itself without any parents--amazing! This self-originated primordial awareness has not been created by anything--amazing! It does not experience birth nor does there exist a cause for its death--amazing! Although it is evidently visible, yet there is no one there who sees it--amazing! Although it has wandered throughout Samsara, it has come to no harm--amazing! Even though it has seen Buddhahood itself, it has not come to any benefit from this--amazing! Even though it exists in everyone everywhere, yet it has gone unrecognized--amazing! Nonetheless you hope to attain some other fruit than this elsewhere--amazing! Even though it exists within yourself (and nowhere else), yet you seek for it elsewhere--amazing!

14.

How wonderful! This immediate intrinsic awareness is insubstantial and lucidly clear: Just this is the highest pinnacle of all views. It is all encompassing, free of everything, and without any conceptions whatsoever: Just this is the highest pinnacle among all meditations. It is un-fabricated and inexpressible in worldly terms: Just this is the highest pinnacle among all courses of conduct. Without being sought after, it is spontaneously self-perfected from the very beginning: Just this is the highest pinnacle among all fruits.

15.

Here is the teaching of the four great vehicles that are without error: (First) there is the great vehicle of the unmistaken view. Since this immediate awareness is lucidly clear, and this lucid clarity is without error or mistake, it is called "a vehicle." (Second) there is the great vehicle of the unmistaken meditation. Since this immediate awareness is that which possesses clarity, and this lucid clarity is without error or mistake, it is called "a vehicle." (Third) there is the great vehicle of the unmistaken conduct. Since this immediate primal awareness is that which possesses clarity, and this lucid clarity is without error or mistake, it is called "a vehicle". (Fourth) there is the great vehicle of the unmistaken fruit. Since this immediate awareness is lucidly clear, and this lucid clarity is without error or mistake, it is called "a vehicle."

16.

Here is the teaching on the four great unchanging (essential points called) "nails." (First) there is the great nail of the unchanging view: This immediate present awareness is lucidly clear, because it is stable in the three times; it is called "a nail." (Second) there is the great nail of the unchanging meditation: This immediate present awareness is lucidly clear, because it is stable in the three times; it is called "a nail." (Third) there is the great nail of the unchanging conduct: This immediate present awareness is lucidly clear, because it is stable in the three times; it is called "a nail." (Fourth) there is the great nail of the unchanging fruit: This immediate present awareness is lucidly clear, because it is stable in the three times; it is called "a nail."

17.

Then, as for the secret instruction, which teaches that the three times are one: You should relinquish all notions of the past and abandon all precedents. You should cut off all plans and expectations with respect to the future. And in the present, you should not grasp (at thoughts that arise) but allow (the mind) to remain in a state like the sky. Since there is nothing upon which to meditate (while in the primordial state), there is no need to meditate. And since there does not exist any distraction here, you continue in this state of stable mindfulness without distraction. In this state, which is without meditation and without any distraction, you observe everything with a naked (awareness). Your own awareness is inherently knowing, inherently clear, and luminously brilliant. When it arises, it is called the Bodhicitta, "the enlightened mind". Being without any activity of meditation, it transcends all objects of knowledge. Being without any distraction, it is the luminous clarity of the Essence itself. Appearances, being empty in themselves, become self-liberated; clarity and emptiness (being inseparable) are the Dharmakaya. Since it becomes evident that there is nothing to be realized by means of the path to Buddhahood, at this time you will actually behold Vajra-sattva.

18.

Then, as for the instruction for exhausting the six extremes and overthrowing them: Even though there exist a great many different views that do not agree among themselves, This "mind" which is your own intrinsic awareness is in fact self-originated primal awareness. And with regard to this, the observer and the process of observing are not two different things. When you look and observe, seeking the one who is looking and observing, since you search for this observer and do not find him, At that time your view is exhausted and overthrown. Thus, even though it is the end of your view, this is the beginning with respect to yourself. The view and the one who is viewing are not found to exist anywhere. Without it��s falling excessively into emptiness and non-existence even at the beginning, At this very moment your own present awareness becomes lucidly clear. Just this is the view (or the way of seeing) of the Great Perfection. Therefore understanding and not understanding are not two different things.

19.

Although there exist a great many different meditations that do not agree among themselves, your own ordinary present awareness is directly penetrating. The process of meditation and the one who meditates are not two different things. When you look for the meditator who is meditating or not meditating, since you have searched for this meditator and have not found him anywhere, at that time your meditation is exhausted and overthrown. Thus, even though it is the end of your meditation, this is the beginning with respect to yourself. The meditation and the meditator are not found to exist anywhere. Without it��s falling under the power of delusion, drowsiness, or agitation, your immediate un-fabricated awareness becomes lucidly clear; and this unmodified state of even contemplation is concentration. Therefore remaining in a calm state or not remaining in it are not two different things.

20.

Although there exist a great many different kinds of behavior, which do not agree among themselves, your own self-originated primal awareness is the Unique Sphere. Behavior and the one who behaves are not two (different things). When you look for the one it is who behaves with action or without action, Since you have searched for the one who acts and have not found him anywhere, At that time your behavior is exhausted and overthrown. Thus, even though it is the end of your conduct and behavior, this is the beginning with respect to yourself. From the very beginning neither behavior nor the one who behaves have existed (as separate realities). Without its falling under the power of errors and inherited predispositions, your immediate awareness is an un-fabricated inherent clarity. Without accepting or rejecting anything, just letting things be as they are without trying to modify them, such conduct or behavior alone is pure. (Therefore) pure and impure action are not two (different things).

21.

Although there exist great many different fruits that do not agree among themselves, the nature of the mind that is inherent awareness is (none other than) the spontaneously perfected Trikaya. What is realized and the one who realizes it are not two (different things). When you look for the fruit and for the one who has realized it, since you have searched for the realizer (of the fruit) and have not found him anywhere, at that time your fruit is exhausted and overthrown. Thus, even though it is an end to your fruition, still this is the beginning with respect to yourself. Both the fruition and the one who has attained the realization are found to not exist anywhere. Without its falling under the power of attachments or aversions or of hopes and fears, your immediate present awareness becomes spontaneously perfected inherent clarity. Understand that within yourself the Trikaya is fully manifest. (Therefore) this itself is the fruition of primordial Buddhahood.

22.

This intrinsic awareness is free of the eight extremes, such as Eternalism and nihilism, and the rest. Thus we speak of the Middle Way where one does not fall into any of the extremes, and we speak of intrinsic awareness as uninterrupted mindful presence. Since emptiness possesses a heart that is intrinsic awareness, therefore it is called by the name of Tathagata-garbha, that is, "the embryo or heart of Buddhahood." If you understand the meaning of this, then that will transcend and surpass everything else. Therefore, it is called by the name of Praj?��p��ramit��, that is, "the Perfection of Wisdom." Because it cannot be conceived of by the intellect and is free of all (conceptual) limitations from the very beginning, therefore it is called by the name of Mahamudra, that is, "the Great Symbol." Because of that, in accordance with whether it is specifically understood or not understood, Since it is the basis of everything, of all the bliss of Nirvana and of all the sorrow of Samsara, Therefore it is called by the name of Alaya, that is, "the foundation of everything." Because, when it remains in its own space, it is quite ordinary and in no way exceptional, this awareness that is present and lucidly clear is called by the name of "ordinary awareness." However many names may be applied to it, even though they are well conceived and fancy sounding, With regard to its real meaning, it is just this immediate present awareness (and nothing else).

23.

To desire something other than this Is just like having an elephant (at home), but searching for its tracks elsewhere. Even though you may try to measure the universe with a tape measure, it will not be possible to encompass all of it. (Similarly) if you do not understand that everything derives from the mind, it will not be possible for you to attain Buddhahood. By not recognizing this (intrinsic awareness for what it is), you will then search for your mind somewhere outside of yourself. If you seek for yourself elsewhere (outside of yourself), how can you ever find yourself? For example, this is just like an idiot who, going into a crowd of many people, And having let himself become confused because of the spectacle, Does not recognize himself; and, even though he searches for himself everywhere, He continually makes the error of mistaking others for himself. (Similarly) since you do not see the natural condition of the real disposition of things, you do not know that appearances come from mind, and so you are thrust once again into Samsara. By not seeing that your own mind is actually the Buddha, Nirvana becomes obscured. With respect to Samsara and Nirvana, (the difference is simply due) to ignorance or to awareness respectively. But at this single instant (of pure awareness), there is in fact no actual difference between them (in terms of their essence). If you come to perceive them as existing somewhere other than in your own mind, this is surely an error. (Therefore) error and non-error are actually of a single essence (which is the nature of the mind). Since the mind-streams of sentient beings are not made into something that is divided into two, the unmodified uncorrected nature of the mind is liberated by its being allowed simply to remain in its own (original) natural condition. If you are not aware that the fundamental error or delusion comes from the mind, you will not properly understand the real meaning of the Dharmata (the nature of reality);

You should look into what is self-arising and self-originated. With respect to these appearances, in the beginning they must arise from somewhere, In between they must remain somewhere, and at the end they must go somewhere. Yet when you look (into this matter), it is, for example, like a crow gazing into a well. When he flies away from the well, (his reflection) also departs from the well and does not return. In the same way, appearances arise from the mind; they arise from the mind and are liberated into the mind. The nature of the mind which (has the capacity) to know everything and be aware of everything is empty and clear; As is the case with the sky above, its emptiness and its clarity have been inseparable from the very beginning. Self-originated primal awareness becomes manifest, And becoming systematically established as luminous clarity, just this is the Dharmata, the nature of reality. Even though the indication of its existence is all phenomenal existence (which manifests externally to you), You are aware of it in your own mind, and this latter is the nature of the mind. Since it is aware and clear, it is understood to be like the sky. However, even though we employ the example of the sky to indicate the nature of the mind, this is in fact only a metaphor or simile indicating things in a one-sided fashion. The nature of the mind, as well as being empty, is also intrinsically aware; everywhere it is clear. But the sky is without any awareness; it is empty as an inanimate corpse is empty. Therefore, the real meaning of "mind" is not indicated by the sky. So without distraction, simply allow the mind to remain in the state of being just as it is.

Moreover, as for this diversity of appearances, which represents relative truth, not even one of these appearances is actually created in reality, and so accordingly they disappear again. All things, all phenomenal existence, everything within Samsara and Nirvana, Are merely appearances (or phenomena) which are perceived by the individual's single nature of the mind. On any particular occasion, when your own (internal) mind-stream undergoes changes, then there will arise appearances, which you will perceive as external changes. Therefore, everything that you see is a manifestation of mind. And, moreover, all of the beings inhabiting the six realms of rebirth perceive everything with their own distinct karmic vision. The Tirthikas who are outsiders see all this in terms of the dualism of Eternalism as against nihilism. Each of the nine successive vehicles sees things in terms of its own view. Thus, things are perceived in various different ways and may be elucidated in various different ways. Because you grasped at these various (appearances that arise), becoming attached to them, errors have come into existence. Yet with respect to all of these appearances of which you are aware in your mind, Even though these appearances that you perceive do arise, if you do not grasp at them, then that is Buddhahood.

Appearances are not erroneous in themselves, but because of your grasping at them, errors come into existence. But if you know that these thoughts only grasp at things which are mind, then they will be liberated by themselves. Everything that appears is but a manifestation of mind. Even though the entire external inanimate universe appears to you, it is but a manifestation of mind. Even though all of the sentient beings of the six realms appear to you they are but a manifestation of mind. Even though the happiness of humans and the delights of the Devas in heaven appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though the sorrows of the three evil destinies appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though the five poisons representing ignorance and the passions appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though intrinsic awareness, which is self-originated primal awareness, appears to you, it is but a manifestation of mind. Even though good thoughts along the way to Nirvana appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though obstacles due to demons and evil spirits appears to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though the gods and other excellent attainments appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though various kinds of purity appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though (the experience) of remaining in a state of one-pointed concentration without any discursive thoughts appears to you, it is but a manifestation of mind. Even though the colors that are the characteristics of things appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. Even though a state without characteristics and without conceptual elaborations appears to you, it is but a manifestation of mind. Even though the non-duality of the one and the many appears to you, it is but a manifestation of mind. Even though existence and non-existence, which are not created anywhere, appear to you, they are but manifestations of mind. There exist no appearances whatsoever that can be understood as not coming from mind.

Because of the unobstructed nature of the mind, there is a continuous arising of appearances. Like the waves and the waters of the ocean, which are not two (different things), Whatever arises is liberated into the natural state of the mind. However many different names are applied to it in this unceasing process of naming things, With respect to its real meaning, the mind (of the individual) does not exist other than as one. And, moreover, this singularity is without any foundation and devoid of any root. But, even though it is one, you cannot look for it in any particular direction. It cannot be seen as an entity located somewhere, because it is not created or made by anything. Nor can it be seen as just being empty, because there exists the transparent radiance of its own luminous clarity and awareness. Nor can it be seen as diversified, because emptiness and clarity are inseparable. Immediate self-awareness is clear and present. Even though activities exist, there is no awareness of an agent who is the actor. Even though they are without any inherent nature, experiences are actually experienced. If you practice in this way, then everything will be liberated. With respect to your own sense faculties, everything will be understood immediately without any intervening operations of the intellect. Just as is the case with the sesame seed being the cause of the oil and the milk being the cause of butter, But where the oil is not obtained without pressing and the butter is not obtained without churning, So all sentient beings, even though they possess the actual essence of Buddhahood, Will not realize Buddhahood without engaging in practice. If he practices, then even a cowherd can realize liberation. Even though he does not know the explanation, he can systematically establish himself in the experience of it. (For example) when one has had the experience of actually tasting sugar in one's own mouth, one does not need to have that taste explained by someone else. Not understanding this (intrinsic awareness), even Panditas can fall into error. Even though they are exceedingly learned and knowledgeable in explaining the nine vehicles, it will only be like spreading rumors of places, which they have not seen personally. And with respect to Buddhahood, they will not even approach it for a moment. If you understand (intrinsic awareness), all of your merits and sins will be liberated into their own condition. But if you do not understand it, any virtuous or vicious deeds that you commit will accumulate as karma leading to transmigration in heavenly rebirth or to rebirth in the evil destinies respectively. But if you understand this empty primal awareness, which is your own mind, the consequences of merit and of sin will never come to be realized, just as a spring cannot originate in the empty sky. In the state of emptiness itself, the object of merit or of sin is not even created. Therefore, your own manifest self-awareness comes to see everything nakedly. This self-liberation through seeing with naked awareness is of such great profundity, and, this being so; you should become intimately acquainted with self-awareness. Profoundly sealed!

As for this "Self-Liberation through Seeing with Naked Awareness" which is a direct introduction to one's own intrinsic awareness, It is for the benefit of those sentient beings belonging to the later generations of those future degenerate times That all of my Tantras, Agamas, and Upadesas, Though necessarily brief and concise, have been composed. And even though I have disseminated them at the present time, yet they shall be concealed as precious treasures, So that those whose good karma ripens in the future shall come to encounter them. SAMAYA! Gya! Gya! Gya!

This treatise which is an introduction to one's actual intrinsic awareness or state of immediate presence Is entitled "Self-Liberation through Seeing with Naked Awareness." It was composed by Padmasambhava, the Master from Uddiyana. Until Samsara is emptied of living beings, may this Great Work of liberating them not be abandoned!

THE TRUTH ABOUT UFO AND ALIEN DISCLOSURE~

Lots of new UFO videos on YouTube and UFO sightings and disclosure news articles world-wide since the "ETs disabling our nukes" news conference on Sept 27. I think all of you know how to find these so I am not going to list them here but have something else for you.

Disclosure, what is it?

Well, consider that ETs, both human, humanoid and non humanoid have been visiting Earth for eons, which we now have more than enough archeological evidence to support. In fact there is so much evidence now that the burden of proof has switched to the skeptics now, and besides their same old tired debunk mentality they have no proof of their position; just their philosophy that there is no God, no Santa Claus and no life after death etc etc. Just because there are plenty of phony UFO videos and photos on the internet does not prove that the real ones are phony too. What will it mean to us, to the average above-average citizen?

Rather than give you an opinion of the political ramifications of first contact, which others smarter than me have already done, I am just going to play a numbers game to give you a sense of the magnitude of information that is about to flood over us like a galactic tsunami and the psychological adjustment this will require, which is the real mechanism of disclosure.

Testimony from several reliable sources, including Eisenhower's own daughter show that Human ETs met with President Eisenhower in 1952 and offered to make first contact with Humanity. Eisenhower told them we were not ready.

Point taken, we were not. Some of us may have been but as a society, even world wide we were not ready. So then an alternative plan was conceived on the highest levels of many govts. This plan was to use popular media to condition the world human population to be ready for the revelation of the existence of Extraterrestrial intelligent life. My friend Peter Mount Shasta has written about this US Govt/Hollywood consciousness raising effort in his book. Look at the movies and TV shows about Aliens we have had starting in the 1950s with poor special effects, basically space soap operas right up to the present where digital technology can show us anything writers can imagine. Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, Starship Troopers, Star this and Alien that, so many you could not remember them all. KPAX, War of the Worlds, Day the Earth Stood Still, Independence Day, Mars Attacks!, Alien nation, Visitors, Lex, Roswell, The Event, project Blue beam, Battlestar Galactica, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, really the list goes on and on, I am just giving you examples, the amount of these kinds of shows and movies that have been made over the last 60 years is staggering! Why? Why are we obsessed with Aliens and space travel? Why is it that you see Gray Alien faces everywhere in popular culture?

All this effective conditioning for the population of the world while our govts at the same time deny any and all knowledge of such things. If you stand back and look at it you realize that this all started when the ETs came and met with our leaders 60 years ago. US technology trade deals with the Gray aliens in return for allowing them to continue their medical research on us (abductions) in their effort to save their dying race and help us eradicate our own diseases and short life spans in the process, great fleets of secret reverse engineered anti gravity aircraft in possession of our military, new technologies that render old technology useless in short order. The digital age, computers, smart phones, wireless technology - all this came from you know where! :)

Ok, so I will leave that part of it even though I know libraries of books can be written about all of it and move on to the next step:

Galactic Wide Web - GWW. Picture all the information and data on earth, history, technology, arts, engineering, science, academics of all kinds, information on the internet expanding and growing at a wild rate, and pretty much on its own!

Ok now for the sake of this exercise think of say a thousand Earths or earthlike civilized technologically advanced planets. Now multiply our planetary internet or WWW by 1000. Are you picturing PCs exploding all over the world? If so then you are getting what I am saying.

Think of the sheer volume of information that is going to be converging on our own earth-based information systems in the near future after disclosure. Picture one of these disaster movies like 2012 where the floods wipe us out. That is a taste of the data invasion we face. The fact is few have been thinking about this part of it, about the after effects of the massive opening to the galactic community and all its info and history and technology. This information explosion will have to be contained, controlled. If you think your computer crashes now, just wait till the data increases exponentially!

We are actually going to need galactic technology to handle advanced galactic data. This is a massive undertaking; probably the biggest project in the history of Earth, so there really aren't words to convey this accurately. Of course those of us who want disclosure say, "bring it on." But do we really mean this? Maybe we mean, "Get it started."

Even with 60 years of alien conditioning, our technological growth and the ongoing maturation of our human spirituality and social awareness, we still are not ready for such a mind-blowing, paradigm-exploding event. The only way we can be ready for this galactic flood of data is for the ETs themselves to help us to handle all this.

This is why I say ET Disclosure will take thousands of years to really mature, there's just way too much to integrate in the timeframe of one human life. We can make a start, and that is what I think we are about to experience, a beginning. If you believe we will go from the beginning of first contact to full-fledged galactic citizenship in a few years, you are dreaming. We do not currently possess the collective computing power or mind power to do this in such a short timeframe, and this is why I say we are going to need loads of help and it's going to take a long time.

It will be a nice beginning to hear our governments finally tell us the truth about Aliens, and maybe get a look at the first ones to contact us. It will be a "Giant Step for Mankind" to admit and show the population of the planet that we are not alone, have never been alone, will never ever be alone and there are lots of religious and philosophical ramifications that we will need to sort out. Example: Were we created (genetically engineered) by advance ET species? What is the true history of Earth? Who are our real spiritual guardians? What is an Angel? Have we been protected? Are we even now being guided? Etc Now there's a good general area to start with! There's going to be a lot of resistance to such expansive and galactic scientific ideas, so plan on it. You get the picture now I think.

This is BIG, it is so big in fact that we cannot understand the true bigness of it yet, and may not be able to take in the real scope of it for generations to come. Last night in meditation I found myself hundreds of years in the future looking back on this time as the time of the Great Enlightenment, the time in history when EVERYTHING changed!

So yes, bring on ET Disclosure, let's get started, there is a lot to do~ I am looking for an official disclosure event after the midterm elections, not sure which government will start the real truth-telling but it's coming at some point in the not so distant future, I guarantee that to you guys.

The Reincarnation of the Human Soul

The Pakalian House is the product of the most distinguished minds of the XX Century, similar to other groups that existed in Da Vinci's or Newton's time. They include people that you probably already know and learned Mexican mythology at some point in their lives.

Among them, Ruz L'Huillier, Frank Herbert, Philip K. Dick, L. Ron Hubbard, Timothy Leary, Tatiana Prouskouriakoff, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Fidel Castro, and Che Guevara to name a few. They were influenced by a circle of friends of the Pakalian Group at one time or another. Each one of them has won awards or recognition in their respective field.

Che Guevara, was perhaps the most influential one in terms of physical social changes in America, but unfortunately his destiny did not accomplish what the Pakalian House envisioned. However, not everything was lost because the genetic line and philosophy were preserved, buying precious time, enough to confuse other world groups desperately looking for the spiritual vision.

The success of the Pakalian House lies in creating an spiritual work which can guide humanity toward evolution. And, as you can see, the XX Century anticipated with their writings, research and speeches the most important spiritual vision of our time for the New Millennium.

Every guideline has been put into action, as we know, by manifesting the right principles. However, the enigma lies finally in what Pakal thinks it is the best interpretation of the Chilam Balam prophecy for and after 2012. And, we're proud to present what Pakal, as a Time Witness, brings as a contribution to the human race. After 2012, the Pakalian House will cease to exist and the choice of transformation depends now on whether humanity wants to renew a better world for the generations to come.

The Last Revelation

On August 22, 2004, Pakal received the last spiritual revelation after visiting Forest Lawn in Los Angeles, a place he uses to meditate about his birthdays. This time, it was his 52nd trip around the Sun. According to the synchronicity of his Mayan time on Earth, at the end of his learning cycle, Pakal initiates the action cycle in which he emerges as one of the Time Witnesses and opens Xibalba for his ascension and transformation of the planet.

In Pakal's vision and words, he says, "it is possible to survive Death for the existing and future generations and preserve your soul in infinite time according to the physical Law of Conservation of Energy." He further explains, " the human race has misunderstood the process of Death due to religious traditions and creation of burial rituals that are incorrect in many ways. The main principle has not been applied or forgotten through many centuries. New technology and courageous ideas are necessary to prove the existence of our reincarnation process."

As we can see, Pakal is fulfilling the words of Chilam Balam of Tizimin, the great prophet who wrote the Prophecy of the End of the Great Cycle, in which he says, "in the present, the 13th Baktun will end, bringing the ornaments of which I have spoken from your ancestors. Then, the messenger will come to visit his little cones. And, perhaps After Death will be the subject of his discourse."

Background of the Last Revelation of Pakal Ahau

As in the recent administrative structure of the Pakalian Group, designed by the new Pakal, he draws again in the concepts of Messianic traditions of the Levitic priests, the Mayans in exile.

To clear elaborated stories of his ancient Mayan ancestors, Pakal first explains that the ritual of burying dead bodies in water was an optional privilege among Mayas that was known for many centuries. He adds that in our culture, we should make an effort to understand the Jewish tradition of mikveh, a special ritual of water, with the immersion principle of water, known in the Greek culture as baptidzo. The equivalent word in Hebrew is tevilah (t' vilah). The ritual involves a special pool of water for the purpose of physical and spiritual purification. Therefore, establishing a connection between the old Jewish traditions and the contemporary idea of baptism, as Jesus taught, among others.

In the Messianic tradition, this is essential because it is the symbolic sign of human salvation, spiritual completion, and being reborn again, as Pakal explains further.

In Pakal's Words

"The world is aging. The population is aging. Most are looking for spiritual answers. What I will teach you, for the final moments of life, is an intelligent alternative. It provides believers and skeptics alike with a smart option to what often is the most distressing time of any rational living organism. It is an ambitious idea because death has no meaning when one is liberated and the illumination will give you a tremendous feeling of peace, expansion, liberation, and love.

Almost everyone can return to physical life after death if wanted. The mysteries and meaning of death, if done correctly and beautifully as the ancient wisdom tell us, will assist any person of any contemporary religious persuasion, including the absence of one. To follow my words, is to follow what the Supreme Force of the Universe, that created you and me, has given us as an eternal gift."

The Pakalian Principle of Regeneration of the Human Soul (Liquid Palingenesis)

According to Pakal, in many cultures, death rituals are destructive because the ceremonies do not preserve the soul of the deceased person. This incredible statement is the premise of Pakal's last revelation. The soul spirit is the essence of a person that reasons, decides and acts. It constitutes the emotion, thought, and physical desire to live. It dissolves after death and can be lost, but it is durable enough in repeated births if controlled.

In the '70s, many experiments were made to discover the nature of the soul. Some tried to measure the soul, for example by attempting to measure the weight of a person just before and just after death in hopes of determining the weight of a soul. The results of these experiments are equivocal, especially due to conflicting reports on the findings.

To isolate the dissolution of the soul and contain it, Pakal explains, it is necessary that the subject immediately after death, be placed in a flotation tank or chamber for 24 hours. In this way, the soul of that person is transferred to a liquid medium in which the energy of the soul is most likely to stay intact. The Mayans did it when the first Pakal was created in a cenote - a sacred water hole.

The soul transfer, then is accomplished from the creator of the source to the new human entity, in this case, a newborn who, as Pakal explains, is baptized inside the water of the flotation tank or chamber. If the power of the soul agrees with the newborn -most likely to happen, the normal soul transfer process takes place immediately. And the newborn acquires the soul of the deceased person.Thus, preserving the original good soul that can be transferred in repeated births. The purity of the alignment maintains the willpower of human awareness.

How can it be proved scientifically? Pakal explains water has specific physical properties such as conductivity, atomic vibrational absorption, and emission lines that can be analyzed by molecular spectroscopy or any other analytical method involving nuclear magnetic resonance. If one can detect the energy of the soul spirit altering the ground state of water molecules, (hydrogen and oxygen atoms with bonds), then we're on the right track to discover the most sacred principle of the divinity of man. Pakal believes the day will come when a scientist or a group of scientist will understand his language, breaking the barriers of ignorance in the pursuit of human knowledge. These groups of scientists will demonstrate that indeed, soul transfer is a dynamic physical fact quantifiable and measured with instruments of higher sensitivity. That's the final revelation from Lord Pakal Ahau. After all, he is a scientist-teacher with a mission to help humanity search the Truth. And we believe that the Truth will emerge and transform the world forever after 2012.

I was originally given the opportunity to either speak today, Oct. 10, or sometime in late November. Although I thought the Nov. date would perhaps be easier, because the event I am here to talk about would have already happened, I saw a greater challenge in speaking today, to help shed light on this profound moment in time.

There are several indicators that clearly point to the fact that we, both as individuals and as a planet, may be standing precipitously on the threshold of a dream. What is this dream? It is each of us, and the entire planet, realizing our place, our destiny among the stars, as part of a confederation of planets whose inhabitants understand we are not alone, and could never be alone in Creator's vast universe, that we are in fact all related.

This confederation of planets has existed for countless eons, but it has taken a remarkably long period of time for those who dominate, by their control of this planet, to finally relinquish enough of that control to allow a much needed bit of truth to come through to us.

Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics clearly depict flying saucers, and so do ancient Mayan inscriptions and art. And other ancient cultures show similar things, which leads us to believe we have been visited many times over thousands (and probably tens-of-thousands) of years. So, thousands of people have seen thousands of unusual craft in the skies for thousands of years.

It is, however, more recent developments that seem to indicate that some great event may be looming on the horizon in our near future. How near? How about November of this year, 2010? Consider the following: On Nov. 6-10, 2009, the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Sciences convened a conference on the possibility and implications of extraterrestrial life. Vatican member Monsignor Corrado Balducci said, “We do not find any direct reference to extraterrestrial life in the Bible, but it neither excludes their existence. Since God's wisdom and omnipotence has no limits and is infinite; the existence of other inhabited planets is highly probable.� He went on to say, If they are indeed superior to us, [they] can help and support us in our spiritual development.� Wow! Who would have ever thought the Vatican would make such an announcement, but there you have it.

But it is the news stories being reported in just the last few weeks that are really starting to show signs of something very unusual going on. On Sept. 26, the London Telegraph ran an article which headlined, UN to Appoint Space Ambassador to Greet Alien Visitors. The article stated in part, The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that someday humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials. When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all of the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.

Many people might question that stated position of the UN, because they believe the UN is really a mechanism for achieving a One World Government. I believe the ETs would see right through that trick, and I wouldn't be too surprised if the ET visitors walked right past the UN Space Ambassador to talk instead to the real people on this planet, like you and me! This still seems a bit strange though, because the search for extraterrestrial communication has been ongoing for decades. Why suddenly, on Sept. 26, does the UN announce the appointment of a Space Ambassador? Are they expecting extraterrestrial visitors soon?

The very next day, Sept. 27, ABC News reported, Former Airmen to Government: Come Clean on UFOs.� The article stated in part, During a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., seven former Air Force officers once stationed at nuclear bases around the country said that not only have UFOs visited Air Force bases, some have succeeded in disabling nuclear missiles stationed there.� From my own understanding regarding many previously reported cases, this has actually been going on for many years. But now, instead of ignoring these reports as in the past, the media is picking up on the story and going nationwide with it, and one has to wonder, why now?

Two days later, on Sept. 29, Science Daily and The Christian Science Monitor (as well as others) reported, Newly Discovered Planet May be First Truly Habitable Exoplanet.� A team of astronomers from U.C. Santa Cruz and the Carnegie Institution announced the discovery of an earth-sized planet orbiting a nearby star at a distance that places it squarely in the middle of the star as a habitable zone.� Steven Vogt, Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, said, "I would say, my own personal feeling is that the chances of life on this planet are 100 percent."

Later on that same night, on a late night radio talk program called Coast to Coast, another scientist, Richard C. Hoagland, remarked that this announcement by Prof. Vogt was a first. No scientist has ever said there is a 100 percent chance of life on a particular planet (It's like he's saying, Look, we have inhabited planets out there, so get used to it!�). Again, is this just a coincidence along with these other news announcements? Or are we being mentally prepared for something? Richard Hoagland believes that we are being prepared for Disclosure.

I do not mean to imply that all these sources necessarily conspired together to present this information at this particular time, but it's not too difficult to put these pieces of a puzzle together to form a picture of something possibly coming our way soon.

And I also notice that Lockheed Skunk Works CEO, Ben Rich, passed away. He actually passed away in 1995, but they have chosen this Sept. to bring these facts to us. In a deathbed confession, Mr. Rich admitted that extraterrestrial UFO visitors are real, and that the U.S. military travels to the stars. He said, "We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects."� When he was asked how ETs are able to travel such great distances, he said, "All points in time and space are connected."

So, why do I suggest an event of some kind may be happening in Nov. of 2010? There is a website called Half Past Human dot com, where a small group of dedicated researchers scan millions of websites and related sources of information to study linguistic patterns and associations that have demonstrated the potential for pre-knowledge. They began their studies years ago when they noticed that events that happen in time have a ripple effect, much like throwing a stone into a pond, that goes out into the future, but also has a ripple effect that comes back toward us. Their first great demonstration of this pre-knowledge was Sept. 11, 2001. They could see the linguistic patterns of some huge event that would happen exactly when it did, on Sept. 11, but they didn't know exactly what it would be, only that it was something big. Since then they have shown the ability for pre-knowledge regarding several events, and have refined their work to hopefully be more able to determine what a particular event seems to be. They publish these findings in reports called "The Shape of things to Come."

What they are showing now is some event around Nov. 8-11, which is one week after the elections. This event is much bigger in its impact than 9-11, but it is not necessarily something bad, only that it is something really big. They refer to this as the November Tipping Point,� and also described as our date with destiny. This is followed by two months of release language.� I take this to mean that if this is Disclosure and established Contact with ETs, it could take two months for all of the realizations that that would entail to sink into the global mindset. They also describe it as a transition where the sense of new possibilities for social reorganization will be greatly expressed.

Judith K. Moore in New Mexico, who has a very different website at Records of Creation, has looked into this information from Half Past Human, and she gets the very strong feeling it is Disclosure and Contact. Disclosure is where the government admits they've been in contact with ETs for decades. Contact refers to planet-wide contact between ETs and humanity as a whole. These two things are connected and it seems quite likely that they will happen simultaneously. There seems to be nothing to be afraid of except those who have exploited us and kept this information from humanity, which so desperately needs it now.

What I really find fascinating is, What happens to Earth and her inhabitants after we make contact, and we learn of technologies light-years ahead of anything we can possibly imagine today? These ETs ride around in silent anti-gravity craft that are able to travel far beyond the speed of light. The situation of them visiting us might be akin to taking someone from, let's say the year 1745, where the most advanced mode of transportation is the horse drawn carriage, and the most advanced means of communication is the letter, delivered by horse, and bringing that person to visit us today, with our cell phones, computers, fax machines, televisions, jet planes, automobiles, and toasters. It would boggle the mind of such a person, just as surely as what the ETs can show us will boggle our minds, so advanced are they beyond us.

Perhaps it may actually be something of a good thing that so many people are no longer employed in mundane jobs, because they will then be immediately available to form the infrastructure that will produce all of the technology we will see and learn about, which will help to catapult our civilization into an incredibly fantastic future, the likes of which we can only dream about right now.

Get ready, for it may be here sooner than you think. It seems quite possible that we may witness something and experience something in November so awesome it will change the world as we know it, forever. Let's talk about 2012 for a moment. As I see it, this is only part of what 2012 is all about. By 2012, we, as a civilization, need to be light years ahead of where we are today. I look around today and I see a barbaric backward planet at war with itself. I see 2012 as our entrance into a cosmic galactic world of abundance which we must be ready for. Between now and then we must make an astronomical leap forward like we have never done before, and ETs can help us do that. I cannot say that all will make that leap, but it appears many will if they can muster the energy, foresight, will, courage, and determination that such an event engenders. Who knows, perhaps the ETs have been sent here to help us at this critical time with the incredible transition we face. There are many various ET species currently engaging Earth. EMPTY CUP? I am usually approached by two kinds of seekers. One kind of seeker is open minded and of course it is the open mind or empty cup that can be filled with wisdom. Then there is the other kind of seeker that really isn't a seeker at all. This type of person has a closed mind, their cup is full, and due to weak faith they are really looking for confirmation of their already established beliefs, because deep in their hearts they have doubts and are unsatisfied, but they are afraid to take the leap into new ideas as they cling to the old ones that have left them wanting more. However they may try they can never get what I have to give unless they open their minds. Trying to help them is like trying to give a 100 lb sack of grain to a man who is already carrying a 500 lb load on his back. It just won't work, his load is already at capacity. The only way he can take your 100lb sack of grain is if he off-loads some of his 500 lb load to make room. Enlightenment teachings are deep and expansive, requiring undivided attention, logical examination and full faith; and anything less than a fully open mind emptied of agendas and preconceived notions can never accept such a vast body of Divine Wisdom. There is an old story of a Zen master that was serving one of his most difficult students tea. The master began pouring and he kept pouring even as the tea ran over the cup and went all over the table and floor. "What are you doing?" asked the student."My cup is already full!"........... "Yes," replied the master, "Your mind is like this full cup, there is no room for anything new; it just goes to waste running over and spilling. Unless you empty your mind, you will never get truth."

HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL~ We human beings need to hope; without it we are lost. It is part of our being that we must always think of better times ahead and look for the hidden blessings even in our worst trials. We must and will hope for a better world, for Spirit Guidance, for Universal Living Wisdom that will help us to create the paradise on Earth that our inner souls yearn for. WE ARE NOT FROM HERE. When we pass through the change called death, we will awaken as if from a nap, remembering the important events of our physical lives but seeing our entire life-span as we would remember a lucid dream. In fact when you awaken from this physical life it will feel as though you just left the spirit realm to come to Earth a few hours ago. The same spirit guides that bid us goodbye will still be standing by to welcome us home. From their perspective our entire physical lives will take just a few moments of eternity. WHAT IS A REAL SPIRITUAL TEACHER? This concept has undergone many changes since the idea came to the west in the 1960s. I have a foolproof way of identifying an authentic teacher. Very simply, a real teacher gives to you but does not take. He or she is willing to become your friend and confidant if you are ready, and is not "in the guru business." An authentic teacher never asks you for money in a quid pro quo exchange for his help, but will only require modest donations to cover his or her expenses for the time he or she has set aside to help you. A real teacher will not try to upset you or raise himself above you, nor will he/she accept worship or blind obediance. A real teacher test you to see if you are paying attention, and will above all only be interested in helping you to grow, not in attaching you to him for the purpose of financial gain, fame or power. This is all common sense. Always make sure that you test anyone who plays the role of teacher. If they discourage this testing, then that is your first warning sign that they may not be what they claim to be.

THE UNIVERSE WILL REVEAL ALL IN TIME

Recent amazing discoveries have cast a piercing light on the many examples of unexplained, so-called anomalous evidence of ancient humans found over the last 6000 years. These strange finds have produced a new ancient world view for our time. This evidence convincingly suggests that Mankind is very likely millions of years older than previously thought. These new archeological finds are just now receiving the attention they deserve.

I believe that it will probably be many years before the comprehensive picture comes out and the defenders of the status quo, ancient-mankind theories are finally convinced, but one thing that I can say with utter certaintly is that Homo-Sapiens are much older than we have been taught. It is a well-known fact that new archeological discoveries, which do not fit into the established evolutionary theorems are most often discarded as "anomalous," but this does not remove the compelling evidence they represent. We must go back again and again and examine these theories until we get it right, and all the evidence will support it once we have reached the truth.

Ancient seafaring civilizations that traveled to every continent and established colonies; ancient human pottery, tools and bones found deep in gold mining pits in 2 billion year old Precambrian mineral deposits; pyramid builders in virtually every area of ancient Earth; massive structures discovered underwater where they could only have been built during the last ice age when the sea level was 400 to 200 feet lower than today; legends of ancient Atlantis going back to Plato's time; the lost seafaring continent of Lemuria or Mu; and the strange skeletons and burial sites of giant 8 foot tall humans who built the great mounds of the Ohio Mound Builder culture. Consider that the Mesoamerican place names and languages have near-exact linguistic matches in Sanskrit...more than a coincidence to be sure. Ancient seafaring civilizations like the mysterious Pheonicians circumnavigated the globe thousand of years ago.

There is the famous scripture the Ramayana, story of the heroic Lord Rama, who was an invincible and enlightened ancient king, and who was also an ingenious engineer of unparalleled skill and great renown. The Ramayana scripture says Rama lived in India in prehistoric times, , some interpretations say 7 million years ago, which is a rather small increment in geologic time, and describes in great detail how he, his brother Prince Lakshman and his vast armies along with a large devoted army of warlike intelligent great apes led by their wise king Hanuman, fought from flying vehicles called Vimanas and used guided missles, particle beam weapons, and the ancient equivalent of smart bombs to defeat the ferocious demon foes from the south led by their King Ravana, whom Rama put to death for his crimes. The 7 million year figure could be incorrect, but one has to wonder why it is used in the Ramayana.

Another of my favorites is the 10,000 year old story of the Dravidian Lord Shiva, a powerful enlightened ascetic ruler who was enlightened and had mastered the use of medicinal plants, and who dwelled on Mount Kaliash in the Himalayas and founded the Isvarist teachings, which are the forerunners of all our modern religions. It is said that Shiva could heal the sick and raise the dead. His words have come down to us in such ancient Sanskrit scriptures.

I am also very interested in the ancient 30,000 to 60,000 year old pre Ice Age civilization of enlightened humans in South America described in the 1932 book Unveiled Mysteries by Godfre Ray King. This tribe of extraordinarily tall humans knew the secrets of magnetism and universal harmonics, and they built flying craft capable of interstellar travel. Apparently these ancient people in their peerless wisdom found a way to make sure that their great and dangerous knowledge was never stolen and used for destruction, because modern technology has not yet rediscovered their secrets as far as we know. These very advanced 'vanished' people could be the ones that history calls "Gods" or Guardian Angels. They could exist still in remote areas of the planet Earth.

There are many more legendary stories and sagas so totally unexplainable and baffling by current archeological standards and beliefs that they are automatically considered mere myth or folk belief. Just Google 'Ancient Humans' or 'Archeological Anomalies' and you can see it all for yourself online. I believe that we live in an unparalleled age of discovery in which many iconic mysteries will finally be revealed and explained by God's Perfect Will.

This having been said, I also recognize the vexing and discouraging nature of the current debate between the adherents to the new theories such as Homo Sapiens Devolution and the proponents of the established theories of evolution. The established theory is stuck on the idea that Human civilization began in the fertile crescent of Mesopotamia 4000 to 6000 years ago. This is what we have thought for many years. It is not easy to accept that we might have been dead-wrong all this time.

History tells us that this mass disbelief is always the case when a large but chiefly theoretic scientific community is on the brink of a major breakthrough, one that will disprove many of the most widely held and universally accepted views on ancient man. In fact I would say that it happens every time without exception. After all, once upon a time it was a capital crime to state that the Earth is round and not flat. Keep an open mind says Musfaad. If your mind is always open and inviting, then God the Beloved will surely stop by one day and bestow His Gifts upon you.

Is it mere accident that Good always wins over evil in the end? Grandpa says it is not an accident.

Compassion and Mercy are among the most profound qualities of the Enlightened Being. The Way of the Adept is to emulate these enlightened qualities and live this compassion and mercy so that he or she gradually becomes purely spiritual and perfected to the point where he may evolve past the need for physical embodiment. The masters know that Universal Mind is well aware of all of man's faults and deficiencies. Therefore, the true spiritual hero takes honest steps to correct the negative thought forms in his own mind before he looks to correct anything in others. The spiritual man is never satisfied until all hatred and arrogance are rooted out from his own heart.

Oh my dear friends, listen well....Do not allow yourself to be found among those who seek to justify the killing of innocent people for political purposes when the final accounting of your life is done. Above all make sure that you have never killed in God's name, for that deed will surely be attached to you and only you when the Day of Reckoning comes at the end of each physical embodiment. We may never know many innocent lives these people are guilty of ending, how many minds they have led astray, but Grandpa Carl says to the insane Jihadists, ALLAH knows what you do, and one day you will answer to HIM. If a serious student of life looks deeply into the teachings of all the worlds great Teachers, Prophets, Masters and Saints, he will see that they all are talking about the same thing! There are absolutely no exceptions to this.

This insight enables one to understand all, and I do mean ALL the various spiritual paths and the people who walk them. There is after all only One Infinite Spirit. This Spirit is sentient and it takes the form of Nature and also the Spiritual! This Transcendent Spirit cares about all of us, it's manifestations here on Earth.

How can anyone not see God when God's Nature is all around us all the time?

How can anyone not understand the great Love that our Divine Father/Mother has for us? I have been in constant communication with followers of many faiths and practices and I have yet to find a person that I could not convince in the end of this deep underlying Unity of Essence. If they try to deny it, they only invalidate their own belief systems and so after reasonable thought and examination they are forced to see that this is totally correct.

After all this is not my own personal Philosophy.

How many hungry and frightened ghosts walk the Earth that are trapped in the "in between" because they mistakenly think that if they go into the light, they will become extinct and be no more? it is only fear that keeps them trapped. If they only knew that the soul is immortal, and that Light is its True Home.

Abu Ben Adam by James Leigh Hunt

Abu Ben Adam, may his tribe increase Awoke one night from a deep dream of peace

And saw, within the moonlight of his room making it rich, like a lily in bloom, an angel writing in a book of gold.

Exceeding peace had made Abu Ben Adam bold, and to the presence in his room he said

' What writest thou?'

The vision raised its head and with a look of all sweet accord, answered:'The names of those who love the Lord.

'And is mine one?' asked Abu.

'Nay not so' Replied the Angel

Abu spoke more low but cheerily still and said, 'I pray thee then write me down as one that loves his fellow-men.' The angel wrote and vanished.

The next night it came again with awaking light, and showed the names of whom love of God had blessed.......And lo! Ben Adam's name led all the rest.
