Welcome to my yard sale barbie page. I hope you will enjoy this page as much as I did creating it! I just love Barbie! Can't get enough of her. Here are some of the barbies my mother has picked up at local yard sales and flea markets for nominal fees. Check them out. Thanks for visiting!

Talking Barbie

This Barbie my Mom picked up at the Flea Market for one dollar. I just love her, she is a talking barbie, (now I am into collecting them) and she is in great shape, even came w/ a battery in her back! She says tons of stuff. I like how she says she wants to go dancing w/ Ken and Alan, tonight! What a lucky girl she is! Gotta love Barbie!

Working Woman Talking Barbie

This Barbie I picked up at KayBee toys. Although I did not get her at the Flea Market or yard sale, I only paid $9.99 for her, considering she went for 3 times that, over the Christmas holiday. Wish I would have gotten 2. One for me to play w/ and one for Chelsea's shelf! Oh well, maybe next visit to the Mall! I especially like her Laptop, and what really is the coolest, is that she is a talking barbie, too! She says, "I love making money." I like the face mold for this one. What do you think? Kinda reminds me of the new Snowflake barbie.

My Mom's "Pricilla" Barbie

This Barbie is one my Mom picked up at the Flea Market for a buck. Can you believe it? Complete w/ the gown, jewels and ring to match. I love the colors! All I had to do was perm the hair, and paint the finger nails, (I always paint fingernails) and make a bracelet and small bouquet for her to hold. Whatcha think? I am also proud to say that this Barbie belongs to my dear mother. She even named her Pricilla, after Elvis' old lady of course! (She has the Elvis doll, and Barbie loves Elvis gift set! I am so proud of her, I think I got her into my barbie frenzy. She even is starting a Barbie shelf, oh noooooo look out Mom, that's how I started! She has a good eye, don't ya think? :)

Name that Barbie

This Barbie, I have no idea what her name is. Do you? She has factory painted nails, and seems to have factory crimped hair. She is in near mint condition. Only thing I replaced is the shoes. This barbie wears a skirt that has these shapes sewn into them, that open up and pull apart. If you can identify this barbie please let me know, I will post it here.!

Mermaid Teresa

My version of what I call "mermaid Teresa". This one was too a $1.00 goldmine. Actually this costume was on another barbie that was also a $1.00 flea market special, but I switched it, seeing how the multi-colored hair really looked great w/ the mermaid suit. What is your opinion? Send me some feedback! I would love to hear from you!

Oh, and I do realize that these barbies hold no great value, but it does help Chelsea feel better. Chelsea has play barbies(about 30 or so) in her playbox and sitting in her barbie dream house. Then she has around 20 or so from the Flea Market that I fixed up and bought stands for and she can hold. And last she has over 90 "NRFB" that remain on her shelves,(running out of space long time ago!) I always tell her, "One day Chelsea we will have a great time opening all of them up." "One day!"
