A Shadow From the Past Returns

Lord Jareth:

The sun had just set over the maze that he had been searching for. He had no other memories than that this was his home, his kingdom was calling to him.

Nearing the gates, so familiar, yet not, he hoped he'd find someone who could tell him who he was. Right now, all he had was a name...Lord Jareth.

He walked slowly toward the gate, hoping that he would find something that was familiar to him. He remembered nothing that he saw about him, there was no spark of memory that he hoped for. He found himself expecting to see certain things, and there was a vague sense of disappointment when they weren't there. There were no dwarves, or faeries. The place seemed barren. He hoped it was just because it was night.

Seraph:

Walking to the window overlooking the Labyrinth she changed into a raven and took flight, soaring through the air she felt completely at peace and in no-time she had reached the outer limits of the Labyrinth, landing just outside the walls she transformed back and sat down near the fountain, yawning, leaning against it she saw the sun setting making her drowsy,*just close my eyes for a minute to catch up, I'll go back in just a few minutes to study again, I will . . . .* With that she fell asleep and the minutes passed . . . .

Raven:

Raven appeared in the shadows, "She sleeps so peacefully, how can she do it?" She walked a little closer and looked at the child sleeping.

"Jareth is lucky." She walked back into the shadows and vanished without a sound to find the others that she was watching as well.

Lord Jareth:

He heard the sound of running water ahead of him, possibly a fountain. The sound promised the possibility of life, so he hurried ahead towards it. As the sound became louder he found there was another gate, which he walked through.

Before him was indeed a fountain, and indeed signs of life, a sleeping child.

He touched her shoulder, hoping not to startle her, but wanting to talk to her.

Raven:

Raven turned around to see a shadowy figure standing beside the sleeping child. "He looks like Jareth." She silently moved a tad bit closer. "Yes . . . I see now." She would have said hello, but thought better of it. So, she just returned to her shadows.

Seraph:

At the slight touch Seraph's eyes fluttered open, her hand drawing instantly to her left hip to draw her sword that . . . no sword? She must have fallen asleep very deeply as it took her a moment to remember where she was, looking up into the face of the man crouched over her she was startled, he looked like dad, but why . . . .

"Dad?"
