hello and howdy there fine person, if you found this site you most likely somehow know, or know of tommy. if you just wandered in, well that's just good luck for you... if you like atlantic records songwriter, performance and recording artist tori amos..tommy is an often published, noted freelance music photojournalist in the mid-atlantic region, he photographs and writes about all kinds of music/bands and people in the music business. however, he seems to always catch up with tori amos whenever she comes through.. and he is a busy guy..as well as writing he's a sought after top-notch freelance audio tech and physics guru (in the studio and live). tommy also fronts the intense modern rock band m e d i a the original pictures were all taken by tommy with permission (through the proper channels) from the artists, and are copyright protected, but please enjoy them- and then go buy all of tori's recordings...be kind- take a mere moment and let tommy know what you think..or if you have a special need to use the photo's ..please ask/inform him, he won't bite (very hard at least)..."..it's just art distilled from art... how can it not be free..?" - thank you, Dr. Myron, Ph.d. tommy's contact email : mediamusic@aol.comTech Note: these photo's were taken on fully manual old Nikons using 800-1000asa speed -high quality 35mm film stock,(no endorsements here 'till they start giving me free film) -obviously no flash, don't be ridiculous !, and a small 35-70mm lens with a daylight filter-no big funky ultra zoom...i was three feet from the performers. They were scanned with a not so hot scanner.....but you can at least get an idea of what the real prints are like.understand that the links below will take you (and your computer) to files that take a few moments to download so, please just relax and have a tea... i have a ton of great shots..and i'll change them here from time to time..so check back.
