Seneca Rocks Camping Trip
October 11 - 13, 2002

Encompassing 100,000 acres, the scenic Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area (NRA) contains the highest peak in West Virginia, some of the best rock climbing on the east coast and outstanding mountain views in the great West Virginia outdoors.

The September camping trip is to the Seneca Rocks, WV area where we will visit Seneca Rocks via it's scramble trail or conduct suitable hike in the area. A climbing wall activity will be planned with a local outfitter. Camping will take place at the Seneca Shadows Campground in tents in their group sites. The park has warm showers available is an awesome as well as fantastic place!

Cost: $40.00 per scout, $30.00 per adult leader (no climbing wall): included registration, food, climbing wall for scouts. Adults on climbing wall = $40.

Please return the Permission Form below by the October 3 Troop meeting so appropriate plans can be made.

Permission Form: Please complete one form for each scout attending.
I give permission for _________________ to attend the Troop 613 trip to Seneca Rocks, WV, October 11 - 13, 2002. I authorize adult leaders to authorize emergency medical treatment as necessary in the event that I can not be reached in an expeditious manner.

Scouts using funds from their scout account must verify that funds in the account are sufficient to do so. Scouts should maintain a positive balance in their account.
