Way of life-Christianity

Be just and kind. Help the handicapped and the poor or underprivileged. Beware! He is watching. God loves him who does not sit with mockers or walk in the footsteps of the wicked. Watch your tongue. Don’t be a hypocrite. If you are in a position to help don’t withhold. A man’s riches may ransom his life but a poor man hears no threats. Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath, for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Be not hasty to anger for it rests in the bosoms of fools. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. A soft answer turneth away wrath but grievous words stir up anger. Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good. Jesus saith unto Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed, blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Blessed is he that considereth the poor, the lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The lord will preserve him, and keep him alive and he shall be blessed upon the earth and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the lord, and that which he hath given will he pay him again. But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and thou shalt be blessed for they cannot recompense thee for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack. I have been young and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Honor thy father and thy mother. Godliness with contentment is great gain. Though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. He that believeth in me hath everlasting life. The lord is my helper and I will not fear what man doeth to me. Forgive others to be forgiven your mistakes. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. Keep thy tongue from evil and thy lips from speaking guile. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The lord will be a refuge in times of trouble. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, nor lie to one another. Better to be nobody and have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food. Better a dry crust with happiness than a house full of luxuries without peace. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in weight or in measure. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. Withhold from taking bribes. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous, but who is able to stand before envy? The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence and likewise also the wife unto the husband. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Look at your mistakes before you point at others. Labor not to be rich for riches certainly make themselves wings and fly away. A little that a righteousness man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. Better is a handful with quietness than both hands full with travail and vexation of spirit. The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much, but the abundance of the rich will suffer him not to sleep. He that trusteth in his riches shall fall, but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. Riches profit not in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivereth from death. There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing, there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches. Treat others as you would like them to treat you. He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver, nor he that loveth abundance with increase, this is also vanity. Better is the poor that walketh in his righteousness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. Blessed are they that keep judgement and he that doeth righteousness at all times. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he old, he will not depart from it. Correct thy son and he shall give thee rest, yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. Dishonest money dwindles away. An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth, a stranger, and not thine own lips. If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. Good deeds bring you rewards and bad deeds punishment. It is good for a man not to touch a woman. But if they cannot contain better it is to marry than to burn. Abstain from fornication. Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. They that trust in the lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. In all labor there is profit, but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.
