What if Mattel had continued using spectraflame paint throughout the redline era? Here's the answer -- a 1976 Mustang Stocker with spectra hot pink paint.

This custom isn't made out of an old redline, but a combination of the current VW Bug casting and the 1998 First Edition Tow Jam. I've made about a dozen of these and given all but this one.

I redid this Mercedes to match the most common color I see on the full size versions -- antique white with a black top.

I've got about a million of the redline Nomad and Alive '55 castings as beaters and was getting tired of "stock" restorations. This one is a closed-hood Superchrome Alive '55 from 1976 that was repainted in spectraflame light blue with Johnny Lightning speed wheels.

I kinda screwed up this Mark IV. It was meant to look like a "raced" vehicle, with the front end blackened by oil thrown onto the track. But I forgot to put the stickers on before the nose was painted black!
