I played flute in the Smoky Hill Regiment Marching Band! The Hill Regiment is a group of 150 students that has been ranked in the top eight bands of Colorado for almost ten years straight! The members of the marching band work everyday after school and on Saturdays to prepare for the state finals. Every other year they take a trip to show the world their talent. This year (1998) they are going to Taiwan. Previous trips have included, California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, The Bahamas, and Germany. The marching band program at Smoky Hill is very strong because of the great leadership of our director... Mr. Brice! Thanks Mr. B!
