- British Studies (6 credit hours) -This class is a required course for all students that attend Harlaxton. Sometiems I find myself frustrated with the work load and all the neccessary lectures and seminars but it is a worthwhile course while studying abroad. I am learning about British history before the Roman conquest until present time. When I travel on the weekends I find myself appreciating what I see more because I understand the historical context.
- World Cultures (3 credit hours) -This course is the last in a series of required classes to graduate from the University of Evansville. It covers contemprorary topics such as non-violence, communism, capitolism, technology, and science.
- Music Theory (3 credit hours) -This is the last music theory course that I have to take for my major. We are studying the foundations of 20th century harmony.
- Orchestration (3 credit hours) -This course is designed to teach us about all the instruments in the symphony orchestra and how to score and transpose music for them. The final project will be to orchestrate a piano piece for an entire symphony orchestra.
- Health (1 credit hour) -This class fulfills the University of Evansville health requirement. Each week a student leads the discussion of a health related issue such as nutrition or body composition.
