From his trademark spikey hair to his bulging eyes to his overbite, Bart Simpson has grown to become THE cartoon character of the 20th Century. A mixture of practically every human emotion, Bart is by far the most dynamic character ever drawn. His "tough-guy" prankster exterior masks a shy, uncertain 10 year old inside. Bart learns his lessons in life the hard way, but always grows wiser and "less niave" each time. This web site and fan club are tributes to America's favorite 10 year old Bart... the underachiever who has achieved more than he knows!

Our first impression of Bart came in the Tracy Ullman short GOOD NIGHT... where Bart asked Homer about the mind. It's kinda freaky that Bart would ask such a deep question.... but yes folks... he did! From there on in it was all downhill. Bart shows he can't babysit Maggie, can't catch a football like everyone else, can't pose with his family for a picture... can't get rid of his hiccups... the classic underachiever! But somehow we grew to love him. And once the Simpsons' spun off into their own 1/2 hour show.... Bart really took center stage. Lessons came hard and often for young Bart. From sawing off the head of Jebodiah Springfield to switching his IQ test with Martin, Bart took all of these lessons and learned something. You can get away with stuff and stay out of jail at the same time! But as the show went on, we began to see another side to Bart. He really is a good kid. Doesn't always do the right thing... but what 10 year old does? The real Bart Simpson needs the love of overbearing Marge, the strange discipline and advice of Homer, the companionship of Lisa and the structure of all the elements in his life. Bart needs his family... and the family needs Bart... and try as they might... all the Homer fans... Lisa fans... whatever... a publication called Time Magazine said that BARTHOLOMEW J. SIMPSON was the most influential cartoon character of the 20th Century. But us Bart fans already knew that. So here's to you Bart... may you be forever 10 and forever live your life to the fullest!
