REBELLION IS AS WITCHCRAFT

God doesn't owe us anything. I said, GOD DOES NOT OWE US ANYTHING! It is only by His mercy that we have been given the privilege to name His name. It is only by His mercy that we are not bowing down to sticks and stones. It is only by His mercy that we are not running around with bones in our noses and animals skins on us, worshiping the sun and the moon. It's only by His mercy that we are redeemed. When we get the idea that God owes us something, we are in the Spirit of rebellion. And rebellion rules this age. The Bible says that rebellion is a sin that is as the sin of witchcraft. I would dare say tonight, and I do not take it back, that at least eighty five to ninety percent of Christian churches are operating in the Spririt of witchcraft. And why are they under the Spirit of witchcraft? Is it because they lack Bibles? No! Is it because they've never heard the name of Jesus Christ? No! Is it because they have not had somewhere in their kindreds of faith sound instruction? No! It's because the people and the pastor have gone into rebellion.

We are living in a generation where people can spit in God's face and think they are justified. Recently, there has been a book published by someone that has had a long career in religion. In his book this person was making the confession that they were wrong. In fact that was the name of the book, "I was wrong." Now the point I'm getting to is this; after being punished by the world, after being stripped of a massive religious kingdom, after being revealed as a fraud, a liar, cheat, homosexual, and adulterer, the person finally admits, "I was wrong." But the point is that during the whole time this man was building his gigantic religious "club' he was in rebellion. Yet the Christians were lapping it up, eating it up, and sucking it up as if it was delicious, as though it was wonderful, as though it was full of God's life, and all the while it was death! What we need to realize is that it is very easy to get into the biggest hurrah party there is, we can be saying, "Amen brother", we can be saying, "Hallelujah", we can be saying, "Oh yes, it's God, it's God", and all the time it's the spirit of rebellion. We are feeding a spirit of rebellion! This whole country went whoring after this man. They said, "This is the greatest thing that has ever happened. This is the most beautiful work of God. Look at how God is blessing him. Look at the millions and millions of dollars that are being drawn in. Look at how his broadcasting network is spreading around the world. It's only too obvious that this is the work of God." So many Christians joined him in his lust and greed. And all the while his entire operation was rebellious against the principles of God. When we have the Word of God and we rebel against the Word of God, we are in rebellion! I don't care if we make twenty billion trillion dollars, I don't care if ten thousand lust dogs follow after us or ten million. It's rebellion none the less. And when we are in rebellion, we are the enemy of God. Because it says rebellion is as witchcraft. And no matter how subtle or how sneaky or how religiously crafty we can be, we are still the enemy of God. Amen! We are the enemy of God, we are not the friend of God. The friends of God are those that who obey the Lord. Those who bow down to the Lord's not their own way.

We are living in a time where men are gagging on their own way. I remember in the seventies, it became the "me" generation. Everybody wanted things for "me", they wanted to do it "my way", they wanted to do it so "I was happy". Every thing was "me, me, me", and "I, I, I", and it's only become worse. It's only snowballed and now the church is so blasted weak, that they can't even stand up against the smallest of sins. They just go sucking after it. They long to bring in all the filthy music of the world into the church. All this nudeness, all this wildness, pollutedness, and corruptness - WORLDLINESS! All the churches are full of these singles groups. Why don't they just call them "fornication groups". That's all they are. Rebellion! REBELLION! We are supposed to keep ourselves unspotted from the world. We are not supposed to imitate and emulate the world. When we are born again, we are meant to be new creatures. Amen? We are not supposed to continue in the old ways. We are not supposed to wallow in the filth of Sodom. We are not supposed to continue in those things that had us sealed in our sins and ready for hell. But we are supposed to be thankful to our God that He gave His Son, that He gave His Blood, that He gave His Life that we may be redeemed.

We are living in the most disgusting times. We are living in times when men are abusers of God. Abusers of God! Bringing these huge television sets right into the church so they can watch sports events. Those houses are desolate. I said those houses are desolate. They are not of the Lord. They are not of the Lord. Eighty-five to ninety percent of what poses itself as Christianity is witchcraft. Plain and simple. Turn with me to First Samuel 15. First Samuel 15, verses 22-23. "And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams." God wasn't even interested in their so called abundance, He was not interested in their great sacrifices. He was talking about the necessity of obedience. I do not read one point where it said that Jesus had a huge praise center or that Jesus had five cadillacs, three houses, six vacation homes, an airplane, His own TV show, His own radio talk show. I don't read that one time in here. Jesus came and walked among the poor. I said, He walked among the poor. Jesus came and did the will of His Father, and Jesus came in His triuphant entering into Jerusalem on an ass. He didn't come on a white stallion with a chariot. He didn't come in kingly clothes with a huge train floating behind Him, followd by a company of servants. No, He came meek and humble. Born in a manger, raised up in a poor man's house. They mocked Him saying, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" No. But Jesus came out!

God gave us a pattern. God gave us an example in Jesus, and when we willingly follow false teachers, liars, and pretenders, whoremongers, thieves, and adulterers, when we willingly choose to follow those characters as opposed to following the truth that's in the Bible, we are in rebellion. Amen? REBELLION! Nobody wants to preach on rebellion, because everyone's in rebellion. Did you hear me? Nobody teaches on rebellion because everybody is in rebellion. "Oh no, don't try to put me under legalism. Don't tell me that stuff, that's bondage. Don't tell me what I can do and can't do. I have liberties in Christ." That may be true, but you're not in Christ. You're in Satan. We only serve one of the two. We either serve God or we serve the devil. Now if we serve God, we are going to bend our will, we are going to obey. We are not going to play mocker. We are going to be obedient from the heart. You know when you mock God, you are going to be mocked. When you scoff God, you are going to be scoffed. And when you do fake, hypocritical, sneaky sins, you're going to find yourself out in the cold. For the truth remains that when we rebel, we will receive the consequences. Now, I praise God that this man who confessed he was wrong saw the error of his ways after he was chastised by the world and repented. I say Praise God, for when a man repents, God forgives. And I'm not holding anything in the air in reference to that individual. The point I'm making is that it doesn't matter how big somebody's name is, it doesn't matter how popular they are. It doesn't matter how many greedy, lusting dogs are following after them, trying to get some of the prize, trying to get some of the money, trying to get some of the lust.

You know a lot of people say, "Well, you just think you're right. You were probably just raised right, or you were this or you were that." You want to know my history? You don't want to know my history. You don't know what I fought my way out of, what I turned my back on. Ha, you don't want to know. You know why? Because you're not walking up to the standards God has for you. "Well I can't give up that sin. I'm weak there." You know why you're weak there? Because you want to be weak there. What about sexual sins? "Well, I can't give that up." You can't give that up because you don't want to give that up. You still want to bow down to Satan in that area. You want to bow down to that stinking, lying, dog eating devil that has you held captive, and you will go to hell with your sins. You are in rebellion!

We live in a generation where pastors make excuses for fornication. Now they've gone beyond that and they make excuses for homosexuality and lesbianism. "Oh, they're born that way. Oh they're people too. Oh, they can't help it." Jesus died to redeem us from all our sins!!! He didn't die to seal us in our sins. He didnt' die to seal us in our sins. He died to redeem us, and when we scoff that blood and we continue in our sins, we are mockers in rebellion and we are operating in witchcraft! Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft! Plain and simple. Like it or lump it, that's the way it is. I am so sick of weak, simpy, wimpy Christians. That's all they are anymore, spineless weasel Christians, whining, sniveling, and moaning about how they can't overcome sin. Face God today! Face God, because if you don't face Him now, you're not going to have another chance after you die. You say, "Well..." Ha, the day's are gonna come when God's not going to put up with your excuses anymore, and you're going to find yourself in hell, sealed there for eternity.

First Samuel chapter 15, verse 23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king." Let's look at some definations. Now, what does rebellion mean? Rebellion means bitterness; bitter provocation. It means to be disobedient. It means to grievously rebel against someone or something. What does witchcraft mean? It means the magical scroll, a soothsayer to distribute information for a price. Now what did I say, 85 to 90 percent of all so-called Christian churches are operating in witchcraft. Witchcraft - to distribute information for a price. The Bible says, "Buy the truth and sell it not." How do we buy the truth? We buy the truth by dying to ourselves that Christ can reign in us. We die to ourselves that we can have the truth, that we will become the truth, becasue we will be living in the Truth. It doesnt' mean that we say, "You can buy my latest tape for $29.95. You can buy my latest book for $59.95." You can buy, you can buy, you can buy, you can buy!! Witchcraft-to distribute information for a price.

Have you heard of these big name preachers and evangelists? "Just write in today, I have a complete set of cassettes for only $39.99. You can have ten sermons on vanity, vexation, and all the other foolishness that comes out of my mouth, all for only $39.99. This work can't go on without your support." Now, is it true? It's true!! They're selling it and they're calling it the Word of God. It's rebellion and it's witchcraft. the bottom line is that we're not supposed to sell what God gives to us, and we're not supposed to spend our days in bitterness. We're not supposed to spend our days in disobedience. We're not supposed to grievously rebel against the Lord. We are meant to bow down unto the Lord and recognize the Lord as He is, recognize Him as our Master. We are meant to serve the Lord. We are meant to go forward in the Lord. WE are not meant to stagnate and act like retarded dumb-dumbs, pretending we can't see our sins. I dont' believe that! I'm still on this point because I dont' believe people when they tell me that they don't see their sins!!! You're a liar! Ha! Your a liar! They come off with some kind of excuse like, "I just couldn't see that. I couldn't see that sin." Well the reason you couldn't see that sin was because your eyes are so full of sin, because your eyes are so full of worldliness, because your eyes are so full of greed, lust, and covetousness, because your eyes were so full of yourself. Even if you are ignorant of certain sins, you've got a heart, I hope, and you've got a conscience, I hope. And if you will humbly come before God and seek Him dont' you think that Christ will work on those? He does! He does! I can't even dare to think against the Lord in the sense that I won't do what He wants, because whenever I have a thought like that, I can feel my heart, and my heart begins to trouble me and it hurts. God will convict us of all our sins if we will only let Him.

Turn with me to Exodus 22:18. It says, "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live." Deuteronomy 18:10, "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch." It says, "There shall not be found among you..." 85-90 percent of what pastors pass off as Christianity today is witchcraft. What is a witch? Somebody who triggers a spell, an enchantment, who practices magic, sorcery; a sorcerer. Is God pleased with witchcraft? No! What about all these people that keep watching the Government? Keep watching this, keep watching that. They pay more attention to the news than they pay to God. Observers of times. They're in witchcraft. I said, they're in witchcraft! What about all these "Christian singles" meetings? You might as well call them seduction meetings. Spell casting, enchantment, they're in witchcraft. Selling the Word of God, distributing information for a price. Witchcraft! I said there is witchcraft in the midst of those calling themselves God's people.

Second Chronicles 33:6. This is talking about the evil king Manasseh, "And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards; he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger." Is God pleased with witchcraft? No! God is angry with witchcraft. God despises witchcraft and God despises rebellion. Suffer not a witch to live. You know years ago, there was a witch in our midst and God revealed the witch for who she was. God judged the witch, and do you know how the witch reacted? Rebellion and bitterness. And to this day the witch is sealed in bitterness. You never hear a glorious report about how marvelously God is using a witch. All you hear out of the witch is bitterness. "They did me wrong, they did me wrong. They did me wrong, they hurt me." The truth is that God exposed your witchcraft so that you could repent and get right with God. If God exposes our rebellion and God exposes our witchcraft. He does that because of His Mercy! He does that because He desires that we repent, so that we dont' have to burn in hell for eternity. But if we're so stubborn, and so sick, and so dull that we want to continue to rebel against God, then God will seal us in that. Amen. It's true.

We hear so many spineless, weak Christians tell us, "I can't overcome." You can overcome if you have Jesus Christ in you. When you say you can't overcome your sins what you are really saying is that your sins are more powerful than Jesus. You're a liar! You dont' want to overcome your sins. The truth is you're comfortable in your sins and you use them to attract attention to your disgusting, ugly self. We've been operating in the ministry of deliverance, which is the casting out of devils from God's people, for several years. When we first got saved, we were never given the knowledge that we could cast out devils. Although the Bible says you can and should cast out devils, we didn't think you could do it unless you were a minister or something. Nobody taught us about deliverance so we didn't operate in the real of deliverance. But eventually the Lord brought that knowledge to us, which was after we had been ten years walking with the Lord. Since that time we have operatated in deliverance and we've seen all kinds of people who commit all kinds of grievous sins in the face of God. And what you come to find in some people is that deliverance is a play thing. They think they can go out and fornicate, commit homosexuality, do all kinds of weird things and then come crawling back to God and get deliverance. They think they can go out and watch pornography or they can go gamble or they can go tell lies, carry on with a number of sins, and then they can just come back to God and get deliverance.

What these kind of people are doing is playing, and what God will do is turn them over to a reprobate mind. Because when you think you can play with the things of God, you are in rebellion. God is serious, and God is life and death. If we want to choose to play around and play around with the truth of God, then God will turn us over to our sins. I've seen so many people who want to offer an excuse, an excuse, an excuse, and excuse, and every time their excuses amount to nothing more than DISOBEDIENCE. There's no excuses when it comes to God and sin, we just have to obey Him. And we can obey Him. "Well, I've got too many demons to obey God." Don't tell me that one either because I was immoral, mindless, degraded hippie, and I walked ten years in disobedience, as far as God revealed my sins to me, with no deliverance. I no longer was a fornicator, I no longer was an adulteress, I no longer was a drug user, I no longer was a sorceress, I no longer used magic or spell casting, I no longer was a thief and a liar, or a preteder or any of those things, I cried out to the Living God and He guided me in the way. Don't used the excuse that you're too demonized. The truth is that you're rebellious. Tell it like it is, you're too rebellious. You want your own way, so you think. You want Satan's way.

From now on, anyone who wants to play the rebel, you're gonna wear a tag that says, "I love Satan and I am bowing to him." Because that's what you're doing, you're bowing to the devil. You're either gonna bow to God or you're gonna bow to the devil. There's no in between! This thing about self-love, this bit about self-worship, and this things about idolatry of one's self is nothing but rebellion which is witchcraft. What does the witch do? He or she goes around whispering and backbiting, undermining godly authority and casting spells. They practice all kinds of magic and sorcercy. So if you are trying to get people to be enchanted with you, to take sides with you against God's annointed leadership because you dont' like your sins exposed, then you are in witchcraft. I'm not enchanted with you one bit, I think you are a fool. I think anytime you yeild yourself to the devil you're nothing but a fool. Because when we have the opportunity to live our lives for the Living God and we bow down to the liar, we are being deceived and he's got plans for us in Hell. Amen

It's true, and it's about time we pull the blinders off. It's about time that we face what we are and what we are not. It's about time that we face the fact that there's only two masters. It's about time we quit calling ourselves Christians while we are living in rebellion and witchcraft. And it's about time that we start living what we claim we are. It's about time that we measure up to what's in the Book, instead of what's in our minds or what the world is doing or what the so-called church is doing. It's about time we square up with God. It's about time we ask God to cleanse us and free us from rebellion and witchcraft. It's about time that we repent and that we continue to walk in repentance.

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
