Years ago I met a man whose shirt read "Loyal to None". Immediately I thought about how untruthful that was. Everyone is loyal to someone. The most popular one to be loyal to is SELF. This is what God wants to undo. He wanted it done so badly He sacrificed His only Son. I don't think you'll find anyone else who is willing to be that loyal to you.
I have become aware of the worldly-dominated mindsets & philosophies being bought & sold by the masses. I thought, "God, how will this not overwhelm us?" How short the world's efforts come to meet any need adequately. How long can "our solution" numb the pain before we have to deal with the problem?
I was listening to a song entreating the Holy Spirit to fall down on us, and I knew it was the only way that we could come against the flood of selfish loyalism. I began to think of how God sprinkles inspirations throughout the day, when I realized that He can do that through the entire day! If only we would notice it. *Only the Christian who allows this to occur in their life will be able and equipped to counteract the world's false substitutions for God's provision. Begin immediately to apply this because you need this time now for preparation. "Look to the Lord and His strength;seek His face always."(Psalm 105:4)
In every life there are times of difficulty when we realize we are only able to stand by God's grace. In these times, we have opportunity to react in a multitude of ways. Our efforts may be exausted until we finally respond to the Lord in a way that always gets His attention: as we cease striving & say "Let God be God over me". It is in these times that it pleases God to uphold us by His grace.
