5/5/00:Eurrreka!!! We have finally got our pictures to work.We are currently working on a Journal page that will be about breeding the opaque bettas. The male in the picture at the bottom of the screen is the one we will be breeding, we will soon get one up of the female. Don't forget to send us what color of betta you want us to breed next.

5/11/00: We have disscussed the "Raising the fry" page and have decided it is not good enough. So we will be working on it the next few days. That is why it is temporally off the list below. BUT, we have started the journal entries now, so go check that out. We will try to update it at least once every 2-3 days. It is great to see our counter reach 400! We never dreamed it past 100! 5/12/00: We added another journal entry today. This weekend we will work on the fry page and hopefully be finished and have it back on the site for you to view before the weekends over.

5/29/00: Sorry about not updating this for a while. I have had many final tests I had to study for and other things to do. But.... Now that it is SUMMER!!! I hope to get the bettas breed and to do a lot more work on this site. We will just see how it goes. We added another journal entry also.

6/1/00: We will not be updating this site for the next week or so. We are leaving to go to camp. Then when we get back we plan to breed the bettas. We also are now offering microworms for $7 now. So if you ever thought about buying some but just never got around to do it... now is the time. Just e-mail us at: bettatime@hotmail.com if you are interested.

6/11/00: Ok, we are back and in the betta spirit! We will now attempt to breed the bettas again... And if all goes well we will have bettas to sell at the end of the summer!! That would be pretty cool!

6/13/00: I got a new light for my breeding aquarium. Now the water doesn't drop as fast as it use to. I am hoping and expecting to get the bettas to breed within the next week or so. Go check out the new journal entry for more details.

6/16/00: YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! They finally spawned!!!!! Go to the journal for more information!!

7/15/00: I'm very sorry I haven't updated this in a month. It is just that ever since none of the eggs hatched because I think the male eat them I have been to bumed to do anything more with them. But now I am better and ready to try again. I will begin conditioning them today.
