Caroly Wilcox

Caroly Wilcox joined the Muppet workshop crew during the first season of Sesame Street and quickly established herself as a puppet builder of exceptional ability.
"It sometimes seemed to me that all of the rest of the business was just to provide Jim the opprortunity to puppeteer. He loved puppeteering like a duck loves water. I remember Jim grinning, lying buried under piles of Styrofoam boulders, puppeteering Fred Elf in 'Santa Claus Switch.' Sesame Street gave him such scope for wonderfully silly characters: Salvador Dada, Guy Smiley, hippies, Martians-and especially Ernie. Watching Jim's Ernie teasing Frank Oz's Bert and driving him to distraction was to witness unadulterated GLEE!"
