.Runaway. Broken Wing. Little Pumpkin.

Alaar calls out, "Paledesha! You here? You better be...because if you've runaway again I'm..."

"I'm coming!" pipes a small defiant voice. "Keep your tail on I was just playing on the other side of the meadow."

Alaar gives sigh of relief. "I was just checking, Paledesha." The stallion studies the little dun colt with a mixure of affection and exasperation. "After all your name fits you all too well."

The colt laughs, "I know..." the colt paws the ground slightly. "I can't Help it, I got to run. I hate being in one place for too long." Paledesha then rears playfully, "Will you play with me, Alaar?" he then gives Alaar big pleading eyes. "Please?"

The usually dreamy and tranquil stallion wasn't immune to such a look. "Okay, young one what do you wish to play?" He had the feeling that he knew the answer to that already as the colt only liked to play one game.

"Tag!" Paledesha says touching his soft muzzle to Alaar's leg and dashing away.

"I knew it..." the silver stallion says to himself before running after Paledesha.

The colt strieks and laughs the whole lenght of the meadow as Alaar playfully tries to catch him and comes close many times. But the dreamy stallion never actually catches the youngster though fully able to, he knew it was more fun for Paledesha this way. He laughed too for running did indeed feel wonderful.

At the edge of the meadow where Alaar finally catches up to Paledesha and tags him, are young fruit trees. The little colt danced on his hind hooves trying to reach one of them. After several tries he finally appeals to the gray stallion.

"Alaar, will you please get me a yever?"

Alaar frowned slightly, "These weren't here last time..." absently he plucks one for Paledesha.

"Oh they've been here ever since, Lumi brought home Kumien'vali." Paledesha says off handedly and starts eating his yever.

That got the stallion's attention. "Kumien'vali? Who is that?" he asked surprised. "I didn't know anyone new had arrived..."

The colt snorts, "Alaar you miss out on alot." Which was true as Alaar was a deep daydreamer most of the time he was lost in his own world and the intricate beauty of his surroundings.

"Hmm..." Alar flicks his ears. "So where is the newcomer?"

The colt peers around, "She is somewhere...hiding. She is very shy." Though something about his tone said that it was more than shyness.

Before Paledesha could say much more or even point out where Kumien was hidden, Alaar spotted a glint of gold and a wink of pale pale blonde mane. And once he knew what he was looking at, he saw Kumien'vali behind some trees and bushes. Knowing she'd been spotted the mare shrinked further away the expression on her face one of fear. Alaar looks at Paledesha, puzzled as he'd never been looked at that way.

The colt walks over to her, "Hey, Kumien...it's all right you can come out. Alaar is okay, honest. He's one of my best friends." Paledesha cajoes and coaxes.

"She doesn't want to come out, Paledesha." Looking down at the ground, Alaar sees a tiny nai. The nai was rather cheerful looking and oh so cute with pumpkin markings on his hips. Paledesha lowers his head to the nai, "Oooh okay, Teli'ivini. I just wanted her to meet, Alaar."
The little stallion chuckles, "Well, he can meet me."

"Yeah! Alaar'silva this is Teli'ivini, Teli this is Alaar." The colt introduces the two excitedly. Teli smiles and bobs his head making the blossom behind his ear bounce. "Nice to meet you, Alaar I've heard a fair bit about you, from the paints around here."

Alaar smiles and nods, "Likewise. *chuckle* I imagine so, I've got a abit of a reputation when I care to think about it." The dreamy stallion was starting to lose his concentration already and was looking elsewhere when he spoke.

Paledesha and Teli look at each other and grin, "A well deserved reputation too it would seem." The little stallion says, amused.

"Hmmhmmm..." Alaar agrees distractedly and starts wandering toward a particularly lush yever tree. The leaves and the fruit! Perfection, such lovely beauty meant for a very shy lady. Made much sense to him and he hoped it would heal the scars she must have to fear him so. Hmmm...made sense that her companions were young and little, he supposed she felt safe around them.

Paledesha doesn't bother saying goodbye to Alaar, knowing him all too well and simply returns to playing with Teli instead.
