The Fingerless Gloves

Walmart is generally known as "the place that has everything." This is indeed true. While I roamed through the aisles of endless possiblities...I found myself near the newly displayed "winter" section of the store. Surely after this blizzard Wichita just had, I would find that my ears, fingers, and other limbs may get cold so I continued to look at the many designs of hats and gloves. To my suprise I found "fingerless gloves." No...these pieces of cloth are not made for those who in fact have no fingers....but instead are gloves that only cover the palm of your hand, then letting your fingers to remain uncovered.

Now in thinking what the point of "gloves" are...i found this absolutly appauling! When I go outside...the very first part of my body that gets cold are my fingertips...If out for a long period of time they get red, dry, and I lose feeling in them sometimes fearing they may fall off (however, all of my fingers are still in tact.) So why are there openings for the fingers when they are indeed one of the most senstive?

I tried to consider different situations in which maybe one will need to use their fingers often in the workplace or doing a hobby...but it still did not make sense.

I continued to roam through the aisles of endless possibilities. ...All I got to say is thank god it is almost summer time.
