The Airline 62-9020A
The single 'minus sign' speaker cutout brace is readily visible in this photo. The images on this page come from three separate amplifiers. I am not sure if the logo differences are due to varying model years or if they simply have been lost over the years. I have ran across examples of amplifiers with only the script "Airline", only the 'V' and with both. My assumption is that the amplifiers were supplied with both and one or the other gets lost to the vagaries of time. If anyone can provide more insight into this please let me know.
The Airline Chassis lacks the internal wooden braces of the Supro Chassis. Note that it otherwise is identical, even the component selection and manufacturers.
Airline 62-9034
As best I can determine, the Airline 62-9034 is the same as the 62-9020a with the exception of the color scheme. The only example I can find a picture of has been re-housed in a newly manufactured cabinet. The cabinet and baffle structure are different on this amp giving it more of the TV front appearance that is sometimes found on Airline offerings. The owner of the picture stated the new cabinet was a copy of the old with the exception of the material used. The old cab was plywood, he used solid pine to make the copy. The handle pictured is not original, a VOX handle was used. I do not know if the baffle board has the vertical brace beside the speaker, but it does appear to have the '+' pattern in the speaker cutout.
