You've never seen a Halo 3 Grunt like this before! As it turns out in Halo lore the Flood Carriers are actually Grunts but look nothing like the original creature. So here I made a Flood Infected Grunt in the initial stages which isn't in the game. The tendrils were made from a Mysterio smoke base so they were flexible and I didn't have to sculpt them. However I did have to sculpt the rest of the flood form around the basic Grunt and put in all the rotting detail. Aves Fixit Sculpt did the job and I moved the Grunt head over to the right as well for the transformation. He still retains all of his original articulation too! Nasty lil' bugger.
