Now that I have a new computer I can stop complaining about it. I've got a nice computer, nothing too fancy. Sure I have a CRT monitor from 1997 but thats fine, it works and it's fine. Alright my printer doesn't function 70% of the time but thats okay too, I don't print much. Okay my speakers are also mediocre and old. But it's nice, I have a new computer and I'm not complaining.
I may have mentioned before that there was one problem.
My internet sucks. I was hoping to get wireless, I truely was. We bought the equiptment, sure it was paid for with a check that took 4 weeks to process but that was fine. Sure the equiptment took another 4 weeks to arrive but that was fine too. Sure I had to put the equiptment together and purchase a tripod but that was alright. Sure I had to wait untill we got a ten foot pole to attatch the dish too but I was patient. I knew complaining wouldn't get me anywhere.
But then finally we had all the equiptment but one damn bolt. Time to give up. The service providers came out to put it up and I noticed them driving away as I pulled into the driveway. I also noticed that there was no dish on the roof of my house. Something was wrong...
The damn internet wouldn't work.
Now we have to get a telephone pole stuck in the ground with a dish on top which may or may not happen before humans become extinct.
