BIO: Laurila played last season with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the CHL. Scored 11 pts and racked up 74 penalty minutes in 64 games. Laurila played four seasons of CCHA hockey for Michigan Tech. Recently married, Tim rejoins former CHL teammates Joe Burton and Blair Manning in the UHL with the Mechanics. The three played together for the Oklahoma City Blazers. Tim attended nearby Michigan Tech University, majoring in Scientific and Technical Communication. Away from hockey, he used to work insulating new homes, his aunt is a bluegrass artist, and his uncle played professional table tennis in Hungary.
