Manning is a veteran who has played 10 seasons of pro hockey. Played college hockey at UMASS-Amherst in 1993-94. Spent the previous two seasons with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the CHL. In 2002-03 Manning scored 82 pts in 64 games. Racked up 51 pts in 64 games last season. Has played in the AHL, ECHL, IHL, and previously for the Muskegon Fury of the UHL in 1997-98. Brother Blaine plays professional lacrosse for the Toronto Rock (NLL). The man from Sherwood Park, Alta, is the first to ever wear the captain’s ‘C’ for Motor City. Blair joins the squad with past UHL experience with the Muskegon Fury and has played previously in the CHL with current teammates Joe Burton, Rod Branch, and Tim Laurila.
