Bio: A 1993 graduate of Michigan State University, Smolinski was selected by the Boston Bruins 21st overall (1st round) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Smolinski has been playing in the NHL since 1992-93 season, playing for Boston, the Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders, LA Kings and most recently, the Ottawa Senators. Last season, Smolinski tallied 49 points (19g, 27a) in 80 games with the Senators.
