THREE IN THREE DAYS AT HOME

Mechanics Start by Trying to Take out the Trash at the Garage.
Fresh off a 3-1 victory over expansion Kansas City, Motor City faces another first-year foe Friday night at home. In front of a new mascot no less! That's right, Sparky will debut in front of what's expected to be a good crowd, running around, signing autographs, and keeping the crowd charged!
Meanwhile, the featured event is, of course, hockey with the Danbury Trashers to invade the Garage as the Eastern-division's top team and third-best club, overall, in the UHL. Currently, the Trashers lead their best-of-five season series with the Mechanics 1-0 after a 5-2 win back on December 12th. After Friday's battle, Motor City will not see Danbury at the Garage for the rest of the season, excluding a playoff match-up. Meanwhile, the game is the first of three in a row at home for the Mechanics. And Sparky's not alone Saturday as Elvis will enter the building with his blue suede shoes and without his hound dog. He'll be performing some of his big hits to kick off a weekend of division battles, first with Port Huron and then Muskegon. Tickets still available at 866-997-PUCK (7825).
