Karen Newman Signs On For 10 Games
Fraser, MI – The Motor City Mechanics are pleased to announce that Detroit favorite Karen Newman will perform the National Anthem and sign autographs at 10 Mechanics home games during the remainder of the 2004-05 season.
Newman is scheduled to appear at the following games (subject to change):

November 21st vs. Missouri River Otters
December 4th vs. Rockford Ice Hogs
December 22nd vs. Port Huron Beacons
January 8th vs. Port Huron Beacons
February 5th vs. Kalamazoo Wings
February 13th vs. Port Huron Beacons
February 25th vs. Flint Generals
March 18th vs. Richmond River Dogs
March 30th vs. Flint Generals
April 6th vs. Flint Generals
The Mechanics return home to The Garage on Sunday, November 21st to host the Missouri River Otters. The first 1,000 fans will receive Thundersticks courtesy of C&G Newspapers and 106.7 The Drive. A souvenir program will be on sale for the first time this season and the Mechanics will broadcast their first game on 1310 AM WXDX with new broadcaster Adam Kaufman.
