Mechanics Hockey To Host 3 Games This Weekend
Fraser, MI - Get geared up for Motor City hockey this Halloween weekend. The Mechanics will be at home Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Friday, October 29th, the Flint Generals will be in town for a night of old time hockey. Come dressed as The Hanson Brothers or wear your Chiefs jersey and get in free!
On Saturday night, the Mechanics will host the Rockford Ice Hogs at 7:30 pm. It's Red Wings fan appreciation night and a hockey celebration! All fans wearing Red Wings gear or holding a Red Wings ticket stub will receive $3 off their ticket.
Sunday, October 31st the puck drops early at 4:00 pm against Port Huron. All fans wearing a costume get into the game for half price. There will be an on-ice costume parade during the first intermission and plenty of Halloween treats.
This weekend will be youth hockey appreciation weekend, with 5,000 ticket coupons being distributed to local hockey teams courtesy of Arco Construction. Weekend wrap up: Forwards Jeff Goldie and Blair Manning combined for seven points for the weekend for the Mechanics. Manning recorded a goal and two assists against Kansas City on Friday night as well as posting one assist vs. Rockford on Saturday. Goldie picked up two goals on Friday night and notched a third on Saturday.
