MECHANICS TO HOST PRESEASON GAME TO BENEFIT LOCAL FAMILY

Fraser, MI – In May of 2004 Anthony Gambino, a beloved member of the hockey community, was diagnosed with Leukemia. In July, just two short months later, Gambino passed away at the age of 53. Survived by his wife Cheryl and their two sons, Gambino’s memory will be honored on October 8th as the Motor City Mechanics will host their first pre-season game at the Great Lakes Sports City Superior Arena on Utica Rd. in Fraser, Mi. All of the proceeds from each $5 ticket sold will go to the Gambino family. The Mechanics will face off against the Muskegon Fury at 7:30 pm.
