Fraser, MI – Long time friends Ryan Baker and Brad Cruikshank have been signed to one-year contracts with the Motor City Mechanics hockey team. The addition of Cruikshank and Baker brings the Mechanics total of signed players to eight. Cruikshank, born in Kelowna, BC, comes to the Mechanics via the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League) where he spent the past three seasons. At 5’10 and 180 lbs, Cruikshank will add experience and leadership to the team. A Calgary native, the 6’0, 183lb Baker joins the Motor City roster after spending the past two seasons in the UHL, with Fort Wayne and Adirondack respectively.
