                                            FM Tweaks and other modifications.

First three files are assembled with the  JSGME file switching utility.

You can manually install them, also. If installing manually, open the readme file and follow the instructions therein.

If you find manual install confusing, I suggest you use JSGME. All future mods will use this utility.

MapIcons1.zip   This is a variation of the v2.04 Map icons. I made the one that comes with v2.04, using the RAF under wing roundel.

side_map.jpg (222737 bytes)         This version uses a RAF side roundel. Luftwaffe is the same as in v2.04. Now assembled for JSGME use.

MapIcons2.zip    This is another variation of the v2.04 Map icons. Using another variant of the RAF side roundel. Luftwaffe is the same.

side_map2.jpg (247842 bytes)        Now assembled for JSGME use.

AvGas_Explosion.zip      This replaces the momentary white explosion flash with aviation gasoline exploding.

avgas.jpg (114366 bytes)                       Now assembled for JSGME use.

KeyGuides_v2.zip      This is the latest updated key guides that I try to keep true and current.

I changed three keys, F3, /, and Shift-NumPad Enter. Shift-NumPad Enter is for Track IR users.

Here will I place the key guides as I fix them to be true. I have a FullKeys JPEG, and two other JPEGS split into Main_Keys & NumPad keys.

The Main_Keys file prints best using Windows Picture and Fax viewer. Otherwise, some of the right side gets chopped off after print.

The FullKeys file is not meant to be printed. Base layout of this was done long ago by Muzak. I maintain the edits, best I know.

BOB.zip       This is my SAITEK X45 Battle of Britain profile.  Not very good, as I paint more than fly.  :)

                                 I have the 3 modes separated to 1. Fighting  2. Bombing  3.  Landing/Takeoff.

I paint more than I fly, so this is not perfect. A good base for you to adjust upon. I would add more radio commands,

perhaps. I use drivers from the SAITEK website, and not the CD drivers that came with the hardware.

Manual install: Extract to the Saitek / Software folder.

BOB X-52 Profile.zip    redband asked me to host this profile of his. His Readme is below:

Here is my X-52 profile, It's laid out to my personal liking, but has a lot of commands in it.

Simply place the Battle of Britain.DAT file in the Software folder in your Saitek folder.

I use mode 1 for flying, mode 2 for take off and landing,
and mode 3 for startup.
Look here for how to map the startup controls into the keyboard so you can use them with the X-52:

I don't use the POV for looking around as I either use the mouse or use
trackIR. I have the track-IR mapped to the center view key to the Y key as
it is unused in BOB. You would have to change that in your Track-IR
profile, if you have track-IR.

Also, I assign the x and y rotaries and slider to my pitch, yaw and prop
pitch respecitvely. These are done in the WOV controls section

Bf110_tiger_emblem.zip     Historically incorrect, just having fun! :) Got bored with the old spade emblem.

           tiger110.jpg (119739 bytes)          T3.jpg (62794 bytes)          T4.jpg (65937 bytes)         Now assembled for JSGME use.
