Mad thanks to the cool folks at The Bike Stand in Scoth Plains, NJ for giving me the hook up. This is a lugged steel Italian road frame, perfectly suited to conversion to fixed gear...
Awesome.
Da seat be San Marco Concour on a 26.6 seatpost courtesy of High Gear Cyclery in Sterling/Gilette NJ; bars and stem be recycled road, Nitto/ Sakea combo. Cranks are Sakea 165's and gearing is 42/16 for all around riding....
The story about Guerciotti is that the bikes were made with Cinelli's help at first; Some have Cinelli bb shells. They first appeared in the early 1960's. This one is probably from the early 1980's.
