Underwhelmed - Sloan

I originally tabbed this out in 1997 with an acoustic guitar.  
So here is the 2003 attempt (that is, the right way!), with 
an electric guitar.

Okay...now the second guitar comes in.  The first guitar 
sounds like it is playing something like this:

But that may just be the bass.  You could also play them as
