Well, the time has come for Biddy's Love Monkey to call it quits. After 6 long years of playing, we have decided to put a knife in the forehead of Biddys. The 6 years were not spent in vain. We had alot of fun and made alot of friends. But due to the overwhelmingly stagnant feeling of the last 6 months, we have decided to move on. Most of the members are continuing on in a band called The Nain Rouge. A four piece amalgamation guaranteed to bring you the grindiest, most sludgy music we can create. A web site with go up and soon as we get a full set. One member has found his home in the metal/hardcore outfit known as Today I Wait. A gruesome band. We are all still great friends and are taking this opportunity to move on.

The LAST BIDDYS LOVE MONKEY SHOW will take place on April 19th at rubbles in Mt. Pleasant. Also on the the bill will be our longtime friends Nickelshot, and the forementioned Today I Wait. Biddys Love Monkey formed from small towns in West Michigan. Stemmed from high school bordom, the various members of Biddys got their starts in other West Mich. bands (Little Plastic Army Men, Shotgun Fungus, Anomaly, and Ikor). The band recently moved from Mt Pleasant to the Detroit area. We haven't been there long and are looking to play many shows in the area so keep a look out. We finished the CD titled "The Best of Times were The Worst of Times" and released it in early May in Mt. Pleasant. It was produced by mxyzptlk of Naked Lunch. We have also had a slight lineup change. We added our new bass player Bart shortly after we released the CD. He adds a new energy to the band and will work out for the better.
