To be completed soon!

The history of Carrie Brady... When Christie Clark left her role as Carrie Brady in 1990, two other actresses portrayed Carrie. Fortunately, Clark returned and has portrayed this character for almost seven years since leaving.

Carrie returned to Salem after living with her mother, Anna DiMera in Europe. She was then raised by her step-mother, Dr. Marlena Evans after Anna died. Carrie grew up in Salem and did all the things that a young girl would do. Carrie grew up quickly into a beautiful woman, and caught the eye of Austin Reed. Carrie's father, Roman did not trust Austin completely, but Austin and Carrie continued to fall deeper in love. When Carrie was named a finalist of Bella's Face of the Nineties contest, she was overjoyed. She wanted to celebrate with Austin, who was in a boxing match that night. Austin's boxing opponent wanted to hurt Austin, and planned on throwing acid on Austin while they were boxing. It missed Austin, and struck Carrie in the face. It took Carrie a year before the physical and emotional scars were healed, and Austin and Carrie reconciled.

A short time later, Carrie was almost raped by an intruder who mistook her for Sami. He eventually did get to Sami, and Sami in turn blamed Carrie for the rape and humiliation. Sami was always determined to land Austin for her own, and she went to the ultimate plan. She drugged Austin and got him into her bed. Sami disappeared for a couple of months, and Carrie and Austin tried to get on with their lives. They planned their big wedding bash, and as they were saying their vows, Sami burst in and announced that she was pregnant by the groom.

Austin and Carrie were ultimately broken apart, and Austin stayed with Sami when their son, William was born. In this time, Carrie turned to her close friend, Dr. Mike Horton. She wanted to be with Austin very badly, but Austin's committment to Sami and Will was standing in her way. The thing that she didn't know was that Mike was deeply and secretly in love with her.

Austin and Carrie found out about Sami's manipulations in time, but Austin's fatherly dedication to Will has kept him at Sami's side all too often. In Austin and Carrie's second attempt at marriage, Sami needed Austin to marry her to get Will back into a stable home life. The plan worked until Carrie discovered the truth about Will's paternity. It turned out that Lucas Roberts was the father of Will, not Austin. As Sami and Austin were renewing their wedding vows, Carrie burst in and halted the wedding. Sami was defeated, and Austin and Carrie went on to marry that same day.

After Carrie married Austin, she was happy and content with her life. Soon after, she began helping Mike with his Chief of Staff campaign and began a working relationship with him. Through their friendship, Mike and Carrie have fallen deeply in love.
