My home is located in northwestern lower Michigan on fifteen acres of rolling pine bordered hills complete with trout stream. The household consists of myself, thirteen dogs, two cats and twenty plus sheep. I am a registered nurse working in a county Emergency Department.

Romyldale Shetlands began in 1989 under the kind guidance of Linda (Zuppann) Grommes, Dayspring Shetlands. My first champion, Am. Can. UKC Gr. Ch. Dayspring Romyldale Rowan, finished his American title in a big way with a Group One at the prestigious Detroit Kennel Club show. His son, Am. Can. UKC Gr. Ch. Romyldale Rory MacRorie ROMC, was my first homebred champion and owner handled to all of his American points. The AOAC lines became a new interest with Am. Can. UKC Gr. Ch. Romyldale Perchance to Dream.

Each litter is meticulously planned as my space is limited and I average only one to two litters every one to two years. I am always striving to breed to the standard. Structure, type, temperment and genetic soundness are all very important to me.

Romyldale is also the proud home of a small, but select, purebred flock of Shetland Sheep. Breeding stock, raw fleece and processed wool are all currently available. Visits to the farm are always welcome.
