A Chapter Closes in Roller Derby History

This Comment was the Last Updation on the RollerJam Website Made by Kimberly Sorensen On January 27, 2001 We've Witnessed two years of smashes, crashes, thrills and spills in the RollerJam Arena. Dozens of athletes traveled around the country to take part in this revived sport and test their skills on the banked track. Now Sadly the Games are over. hopefully Everyone Involved--From the skaters to trhe crew behind the scenes to the fans in the stands--will walk away (Or Skated away) with fond memories of the experience. RollerJam opened up a new chapter in Roller Derby history, updating the sport for a new generation. Inline skates, high-flying stunts and youthful athletes gave traditional Roller Derby fans something to talk about, and introduced the sport to new fans who had never experienced Roller Derby Before in their lives.--Kimberly Sorensen I Liked RollerJam Since it started on January 16, 1999. From the BOD Squad to the Oral Authority, & From Sean Atkinson To Mark D'amato. It has been a Wonderful 2 Years And to My Favorite skaters: Jaime Conemac, Stacey Blitsch, Telisa Miller, Denise Loden, Laura Weintraub, Shay Brown, Lindsey Francis, And Patsy Delgado. (If you Read this) I Will always keep you in my Prayers Forever And Ever, I Will Miss You. And Finally Thank You For Your Service in the WSL. This website will be up forever in Its Memory
