The Meeting Place

THE MEETING PLACE is one of Michigan's oldest and largest on premise, members only, couples clubs. We are located twenty miles west of Kalamazoo, in Michigan's wine country. We hold weekly get togethers every Saturday night, and every second Friday of the month in a 6,000 SQ FT home, on almost twenty acres in the country. ............................................................................................... Jim & Phyllis created THE MEETING PLACE to be as comfortable for the newcomer to the lifestyle, as well as the seasoned veteran. All gatherings at THE MEETING PLACE are BYOB; we supply the mix, ice, an all night buffet of sandwich fixings, munchies, and fruit. The coffee pot is always on. If you stay the evening, a continental breakfast of coffee and rolls or doughnuts is served. ............................................................................................. Membership is $50.00 per year per couple. This can be paid all at once, or in four equal installments of $15.00. We meet every Saturday evening, and every second Friday of the month.The fees for a Saturday night party is $45.00 per couple, and Friday parties are just $10 per couple. We average 35-50 couples every Saturday evening, and about 20 or so couples on the Fridays that we meet. Dress for these parties is casual. ....................................................................................... Each and every weekend has a different theme to the nights festivities. The Two hardest rules here are NO DRUGS and NO cameras. The drug rule is easy to understand and needs no further discussion. As for cameras, if you wish a photo of yourselves taken here, let one of the staff know. Since discretion is of the utmost here, we will arrange for a private place for your photo to be taken. .............................................................................................. Drunken or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated at THE MEETING PLACE. We're a place to get away from the cares of the world, sit back and relax. We believe in a no pressure atmosphere, and therefore respect and honor the words 'No Thanks'. If someone gets pushy or doesn't understand these simple guidelines, they will be asked to straighten up or leave. You are not required to do anything you don't wish to do while staying at THE MEETING PLACE. Any questions you may have regarding TMP will be answered straightforwardly and honestly.
