OldeTyme Quarter Horses was established in 1990. We started out with a daughter of Dick Badger and wanted to cross her on a high percentage Joe Hancock stallion. We chose Don Wrede, the highest percentage Hancock stallion producing (and the best looking!). We raise performers with good conformation, great attitude, pretty heads and lots of cow! Our goal is to produce top level performance horses.
Buck N Badger is a `89 seal brown stallion, possibly homozygous black, throws dun factor and produces blue roans. He produces athletic, all around cow type foals with pretty heads and great dispositions. He is 27% Joe Hancock, 31+% Buck Hancock and 16% Grey Badger II. Buck Hancock and Grey Badger II the magic cross!!!!!!!!!!!
Our broodmares have some of the best breeding to be found... including daughters of SUN FROST, MILLS DARK SMOKE, LITTLE BROWN JOE, SCENIC JETALITO and SHY PRESCRIPTION. Also granddaughters of FRECKLES PLAYBOY, LITTLE BLACK JOE, DOC"S JACK FROST, HANCOCKS BLUE BOY, CONTINENTAL KING, DOC'S PRESCRIPTION and JETALITO.
