Featuring: Eric Lofquist :Bass, Backing Vocals, Nick Warhead: Vocals, All Guitars, Dan Kobilka :Drums
Warhead started in 1989, releasing 4 albums on the Isotope Records label. Albums: Destructive Force(1989), Sonic Overkill(1990), Conspiracy of Terror(1991) and their long awaited masterpiece, Interveining(1993-94). Warhead disbanded in late 1994, with some extra tracks being allocated for "Warhead 5", which wasn't widely released. In 1998, Warhead released a 22 song greatest hits CD and and re-released their classic 1994 album "Interveining" on MP3.com.
After 1994, Nick Warhead went on to do several projects. He played drums for local twin cities bands, including Chemical Imbalance, StormRazor and 3's Eve (which he got booted out of for wanting to play too god damn heavy!). He also played drums(and Vocals) and produced the 1999 release "Warhead 2000". In 2000, Nick helped form industrial metal band Lunacy X (which he is the current drummer of).
Eric Lofquist went on to play guitar, and was in "Chemical Imbalance" with Nick Warhead for awhile. In 1999 he wrote the music for the "Warhead 2000" CD.
Dan Kobilka quit Warhead back before the band offically broke up (replaced by Joey Patterson in spring 1994), and joined up with a band by the name of "Counter Clockwise"
The former members of Warhead have refomed as Twelve Gauge with Nick Warhead switching to Bass and Eric Lofquist to guitar. Check them by clicking the Twelve Gauge logo below!
