The dogs that make up our program
SATURDAY NIGHT TKE
All of our dogs are hunted extensively on Ruffed Grouse, Woodcock and Pheasant. I also spend many days each summer training dogs on Sharptailed Grouse. Our dogs are mainly foot hunting and foot trialing dogs comprised of the best bloodlines available whether they come from Cover Dog or Horseback Shooting Dog trials. If I see a dog that excites me with its ground race and is an exceptional bird finder I always ask myself "how can I fit this dog into our program".
The bloodlines are the best available. Our Red Setter lines include Ch. Bearcat, Ch. Desperado, Ch. Come Back Fireboy, Restless Red Setters and Col. Ed Schnettler's Saturday Night line. Our Pointer pedigrees are heavy in Ch. Pork Roll, Ch. Guard Rail and of course Elhew crosses.
Of course great dogs are not made out of paper, it takes careful choosing of individuals that have the characteristics that you want in your dogs and in the puppies you produce.

- Winter Dancer--Pointer Female--Ch. Northern Dancer x Fancy Dancer--Winner in Cover Dog and NBHA Trials.
- Bad River Jessie--Pointer Female--Ch. Bear Hill Bob x Beaver Creek Gold--A real classy bird finder that produces the same.
- Winter Wild--Pointer Male--Ch. Dance Smartly x Ch. Railway Willie--A puppy out of one the best females to ever compete in Cover Dog trials. We have HIGH hopes!!!
- Legendary Louie--English Setter Male--Seeya Later Pete x Eulalia B--Cover Dog Classic winner. A hard driving, classy, hightailed, bird finding machine.
